Story
🐾 Meet Luna Sweet, Loyal, and Looking for a Loving Home 🏡 Luna is a 4-year-old sweetheart (born around late Dec 2020-early Jan 2021) who's full of love and loyalty. When we first got her a little over a year ago, she was scared of car rides, her kennel, and men but she's come so far! She now loves car rides, knows her kennel is her safe place, and warms up to men quickly once she feels comfortable. Luna does great with older kids and other dogs and is very gentle with cats. She has lots of playful energy but mostly loves cuddles and attention. She's fully house-trained and very food-motivated. She can be nervous in new situations and has bitten in the past when stressed, so she'll need a patient, experienced adopter who can give her time to adjust. We love Luna dearly, but our son has developed a pet dander allergy, so we sadly need to find her a new home. She deserves a family who will love her as much as we do. ❤️

Story
Meet Taz: A Sweet Soul Ready to Steal Your Heart Taz is a beautiful Australian Shepherd/Husky mix with a heart full of love and loyalty. This energetic boy absolutely lights up on walks and playtime with his favorite toys. He’s house trained, crate trained, and ready to become your devoted companion. Taz experienced a scary moment at 9 months old when he was attacked by two dogs. While he can be a bit cautious at first, he blossoms with gentle introductions and does wonderfully with other dogs and cats once he feels safe. His Dream Home: A loving family with a fenced yard where he can run, play, and be his joyful self. Why He Needs You: My work travels mean I can’t give this special boy the time and love he deserves. Taz is ready to fill your home with loyalty, cuddles, and endless tail wags. Could you be his forever family?

Story
BANJO – Male Australian Shepherd | 2 Years Old | 55 lbs | Healthy, Vaccinated & Neutered Meet Banjo, the gentle soul with a heart as big as his gorgeous eyes! At 2 years old, Banjo is a perfect blend of playful energy and loving companionship. He adores people, thrives on affection, and has a calm, patient nature that makes him an instant friend to everyone he meets. Whether it’s a stroll in the park, a game of fetch, or curling up for a quiet evening together, Banjo brings joy, warmth, and steady love to every moment. Breed Info: Australian Shepherds are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and boundless affection. They are energetic and curious, loving both physical and mental stimulation. With proper training, they become devoted companions, always eager to bond with their families. Banjo’s loving and gentle personality makes him ideal for homes that can provide exercise, structure, and plenty of attention. Owner Responsibilities: Banjo thrives with consistent care, exercise, and interaction. Daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation will keep him happy and healthy. Provide him with a balanced diet, regular grooming, and continued positive training — and you’ll have a loyal best friend who adores you unconditionally. Things to Consider Before Adopting: Before bringing Banjo home, consider: Do you have time for daily walks, play, and quality bonding? Are you ready for a medium-high energy dog who loves to stay active? Is your home and landlord pet-friendly? Can you commit to a dog for his entire lifetime, through moves, life changes, and everyday life? Are you prepared to continue training and enrichment throughout his life? A dog is forever family — make sure you’re ready to open your heart and home completely. Vet Care: Banjo is healthy, vaccinated, and neutered. Even though he’s in great shape, please schedule a visit with your trusted vet soon after adoption to establish ongoing care and wellness. The 3-3-3 Rule & Commitment for Life: The first 3 days: Let him decompress and get comfortable with his new surroundings. The first 3 weeks: Banjo will learn your home, your routine, and begin to trust you completely. The first 3 months: He’ll know he’s truly home, safe, and loved. Adoption is a lifelong promise — a commitment to love, patience, and joy that grows every day. Why Banjo Would Be a Great Addition: Banjo’s gentle, loving nature and playful spirit make him a true heart-stealer. He’s a dog who will follow you around with loyalty, greet you with joy, and curl up beside you at the end of the day, reminding you that home is where the heart is. Banjo isn’t just a dog — he’s a companion, a confidant, and a friend who will fill your life with laughter, love, and warmth every single day. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue. Story
Meet Chester! He is currently 4 months old, 11 pounds, and we think he may be a Australian Shepherd mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Chester's video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10lMIix9R40 Chester is currently in a loving foster home and loves to play and take lots of naps! Eat, sleep, play, repeat. he is living his best puppy life right now - all he needs is YOU! Looking for a cuddle buddy? This Aussie mix puppy is as affectionate as they come and loves being the center of your world. He’s playful, sweet, and happiest when he’s getting pets in your lap. Chester is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Chester's new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/685ee7c07091ff247e0b3b87 Please email tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to the PNW, New England, Midwest and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! We have over 17,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai. You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience. We care deeply about making the perfect match between pet and family for long term success! Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We’ve received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. We’ve even had many veterinarians adopt from us! Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. Your adoption fee goes beyond getting a fully vetted pet, it’s also a donation toward our mission of helping to solve the pet over-population crisis in TX. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.
