Story
Milly is a Mini Red Tri Australian Shepherd. We acquired her from a friend who bought her brother in a litter. She is potty trained, and crate trained. Milly is trained to follow you off leash on a hike or a run. She can also follow basic commands. She has been on many trail runs and fishing trips. She's great at playing fetch and loves being outside. Milly will truly be right by your side like a best friend when she warms up to you and get's to know you. She is instinctually a very anxious and nervous dog. Her ideal situation would be a family with no young kids or other dogs or animals. Patience is key when getting to know her. Additionally, a yard would be helpful for her to run around daily. We are saddened to have to make this decision as she has shown a pattern of aggressive behavior towards our 2-year-old son. We have weighed our options and decided she needs a different environment to thrive.

Hi, I'm Glen-like "glen" as in a peaceful valley, which is kinda perfect because I'm a calm, gentle soul just waiting for the right person to wander into my life. I'm 5 years old, a lovely mix of Australian Shepherd and Labrador Retriever, which means I'm basically a soft, snuggly genius (once I feel safe, of course). With a little patience and kindness, I'll bloom into your most affectionate shadow. I love toys and treats-seriously, they're the way to my heart-and I'm working on building up my confidence one tail wag at a time. If you've got a soft spot for sweet, soulful dogs, then let's stroll through life together-down in the glen, just you and me. *Qualifies for Pets for Patriots program*Qualifies for Senior to Senior programPlease email Adoptions@saltlakecounty.gov with questions Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 53.5 Age: 5yrs 0mths 1wks

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Well, Hellloooo!  My name is Barefoot and I am a very soft spoken boy!  Sometimes you don’t even know I’m here!  I’m just getting adjusted to foster life but I have to say, I’m loving it!  I’m learning to kennel up on command and potty training is just within my reach!  I’m a Heeler mix and am so gentle!  I love to play and chase my siblings but best of all, I love to play with toys!  Being a Heeler “mix” means I’m not so sure about by heritage, like, I’m not sure if I’m going to shed, or exactly how much I will grow.  Right now, I’m smaller than my fam so I think I’ll be around 30-40 lbs.  I mean, I’m 10 weeks old so there’s lots of time to figure that out!  I do love outdoors and I think I’d love to have a family who walks and has time to train me.  If you think I’d make a good fit for you, you can reach me at  rescuerovers.org !  Give me a shout out! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi friends! My name is Amberlyn. I am a very happy (and very beautiful) Aussie mix of about two years old and about 45 pounds. I am looking for a furever family who can keep up with my energy and zest for life! Some of my favorite things are toys, walks, runs, hikes, and training time. I love to make my people happy, so training is super fun for me. I am very smart and highly treat and toy motivated, so teaching me new things is a breeze. I will need some more obedience training when I find my new family, but what I would REALLY love to do is agility training or something similar. My foster family thinks I could even be good enough to compete! I walk very nicely on a leash and am a perfect running buddy. I love having a job and am very focused when I have a task to do. Because I am so excitable and because of my herding instincts, I would probably do best in a home as an only dog and without small children. I really love to chase things that move fast! After all, that’s what I was bred for, right? I am already potty trained and I know how to sit, shake, lay down, and wait. I sleep through the night in my crate without making a peep. I don’t love to be in my kennel during the day and will sometimes cry if I know you are home. I would much rather be with my people if I have the option! I am very affectionate and will do anything for a snuggle from you. Could we be soulmates? Apply to meet me today! https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 31, 2025, 5:01 pm
