Story
Meet Hartman Marina! A striking Shepard/Terrier mix he is a fine looking fellow. Hartman is white with beautiful brindle marking around each eye and a little brindle patch on his back. He is a real looker. This little pup had a rough start into the world. He was abandoned and left for dead along with his brother Fred under a bridge in Baytown, TX. He luck would soon turn around after he was spotted by a boating couple on their way back to the Marina. They say all they saw in the darkness of night were a pair of glowing eyes on the shore and as they approached a second pair of eyes peeked out from behind a rock and just like that they were saved. Hardman is a sweet kind medium level energy pup who does well with adults and teenagers. He is also friendly with cats. He enjoys playing in the yard and playing tug of war. He also likes to look at himself in the floor mirror and then try finding the dog on the other side. He loves to cuddle and give kisses. He would want nothing more than to snuggle on the couch with you during movie night. He is still a puppy so he will need a patient family that is ready for training, socialization, and all the things that come with raising a puppy. He is currently working on potty training, crate training, and learning to sit. He also enjoys nibbling on toes. Don’t miss out on this amazing pup! We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! Story
Introducing this cute little energetic pup Sawyer Shep! Sawyer is super floofy with a soft black and brown coat. He is currently 12 weeks old and we believe he is a mini Aussie mix but with rescue it is always a bit of a mystery! This boy weighs about 15 lbs and is so playful and sweet. Sawyer is such an happy boy! He can’t wait to run and play and get all his zoomies out then lay in your lap and be cuddled. He is still learning what is means to be a puppy! We believe Sawyer will be around 30-40 lbs. We don’t know what size or breed his parents were so this is just a guess! This cutie would do well in a home with other dogs and kids. He would also benefit from a fenced in back yard where he can run and play to his hearts context. Sawyer is young and his personality is changing and evolving all the time! He will need a patient family that is ready for training, socialization and all of the hard stuff that comes with owning a young puppy. However, he will make up for it with a bunch of kisses and puppy snuggles! His new family will have to work with him on potty training, crate training, and basic commands. As he gets older, we anticipate he will likely require daily physical and mental exercise. He will be perfect to take on walks around the neighborhood, family trips and occasional hikes! Story
Meet Fred Marina! He is about 17 lbs. An adorable mixed breed - he is a cute looking guy. We have no idea of his definite age or breed since he is a rescue. He is a quiet pup, not a lot of barking. He is a good boy! Fred is black and tan with a white belly. He has gorgeous brown eyes that are hard to say no to. Check out my video here: https://youtu.be/eja1wxFwlao Fred is a HAPPY pup who loves everything and everyone. He is down to have a good time and would make a great outdoor activity companion. He loves running in the yard, playing tug of war, and chasing his tail. He is a bit of a goofball but he will keep a smile on your face. He is also extremely cuddly and sweet. Loves to lay on your lap and give kisses. This is a GORGEOUS puppy and EVERYONE stops to see him because he is so unique looking. Don’t miss out on this amazing pup! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hey there! I’m Vegemite, I’m about 1 1/2 years old, and I’m a Miniature Australian Shepherd. Before you continue reading about me, I have to get one thing clear: I have very specific needs and I am *NOT* a dog for inexperienced dog owners. I’ve come a long way, so my foster mom will only adopt me out to someone who will continue to put in the work to make me the best boy in the world. I’m not a terrible dog, in fact, my foster mom thinks I’m a great boy. She’s always calling me a little lover. But it’s extremely important I go to a home with someone who knows how to handle a dog like me and is prepared to do so.  Meeting new people really scares me. Seriously— I’ll put on a whole show out of fear and don’t like new people getting too close to the people I know and trust. I’ve gotten a LOT better with it, but it‘s work I need to continue.  I can be neutral around other dogs with very close supervision, but my foster mom would feel more comfortable with me going to a home with no other dogs. I don’t like other dogs near my crate, I don’t like other dogs near my food, and sometimes I don’t like other dogs near my people. Short, supervised time with other dogs is okay, but it’s safer overall for me to be an only dog. I’m working on it, and am slowly being able to spend more time around my foster brothers. I am cat friendly with dog-savvy cats though! So hey, I’ve got that going for me at least!  I know, I’m making myself sound horrible. I swear I’m not actually as awful as I sound… I just have low confidence. So really, what I’m trying to get at, is I need someone that is 110% committed to continue the work of building my confidence. My foster mom has been doing that by teaching me new things, doing some desensitization training, and providing me strong boundaries and strict rules. After all, that’s what all dogs thrive on, right? Now that I’ve got all that out of the way, if you’re still reading this and still interested in me, we can get to the good parts.  Like I mentioned, I’m good with dog-savvy cats, and I LOVE kids!!! I bond quickly, and once I realize you’re a safe person, I just want to be your very best friend. I love to cuddle and give you all the kisses!  I’m potty trained, I don’t mark in the house, and I’m crate trained! A crate is necessary for me, not optional. While I’m not destructive, it’s needed in my training so I have a safe space all to myself, especially when new people come over.  I know sit, down, sit pretty, and place. I can even jump into your arms for you to catch me! I am very eager to learn and training is such a great way for us to bond too!  I get the zoomies and I love to play with toys. Kongs and a good chew are really enjoyable too. I enjoy walks and I’d be an awesome hiking partner. Mental stimulation and physical activity are equally important to me! I know I sound like a dog who will be a lot of work, but I’m ready to find my forever person who can give me what I need. If that’s you, apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 30, 2023, 10:19 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Let me introduce myself, I’m Kevin the Minion. I’ve been described as 100% pure sunshine, a sweet, friendly, smart and loving dog. Like namesake I’m a playful guy in a cute little package. My foster mom says I’m an Aussie/Border Collie mix so when I’m full grown I’ll probably be about 40-50 lbs, but right now I’m just a 5 month old furry ball of fun. I love to play fetch and can catch a ball mid-air. I also love to chew on my toys and have pretty much learned what is a doggie toy and what I’m not supposed to chew on. I am really good on my leash and love to walk with my foster pack. My foster sister and I love to romp and play together. I also like to use my brain to solve treat puzzles and I quickly learned how to use my paws and nose to find all my yummy treats. I’ve mastered sleeping the whole night in my crate as well as some basic commands like sit and lay down, I’m still working on not jumping up. Since I am a herding breed I’m also learning that little humans are not sheep and I get a stern correction every time I nudge my human foster brother with my nose, I’ll need an owner who can continue to reinforce this. As for potty training I’m 100%, I think I’ve actually trained my foster mom, when I nudge her with my nose she knows to open the door to let me out to do my business. I’m working on learning how to use the doggy door and I know with some practice I’ll be a pro in no time. I love to snuggle on my foster mom’s lap or next to her feet while she works and I’m quiet when she’s on her work conference calls. I’d love a family who will continue my training, play with me and take me on lots of walks. Oh yeah, I can’t forget hugs and cuddles, I’ll need lots of those too! If you think you’d like to be my forever family please apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 30, 2023, 10:19 pm
