Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Howdy, folks! The name’s Western Sky. I’ve been ropin’ and ridin’ across the wide open spaces, but now I reckon it's time to hang up my spurs and find a place to call home. I’m a six-year-old Australian shepherd mix with a high-falutin merle coloring. I’m fully grown at about 30 pounds, though I could stand to gain a few more to fill out these rugged bones. Life out on the range was tough, and while my heart is as big as the sky, my manners are still a bit wild. But don’t let that fool you—I’m friendly as a spring breeze with both dogs and folks alike. In fact, I really like youngin’s! For a spell now, I’ve been bunkin’ at Miss Kitty’s Wild West Saloon. It’s a lively place with lots of good company and belly rubs, but deep down, I know my journey ain’t over yet. You see, I’ve roamed far and wide, but I’m ready to settle down. I dream of a cozy hearth and a loving family to call my own. I may have a few rough edges, but with a little patience and a lot of love, I’ll be the most loyal friend you’ve ever had. So if you’re searchin’ for a faithful companion, look no further. Adopt me, Western Sky, and let’s ride off in the ol' sunset together. She plays hard and then sleeps hard. Au Gratin loves playing in water. Though shy at first, she loves dogs, loves cats (though discretion is advised!), and anything or anyone that lets her have a good time. She is nine weeks old, listed as a mini-Aussie mix, and will likely be 25-30 lbs fully grown. She is a sweet potato to the core. If you’d like to meet her, please fill out an application at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication.          Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 13, 2024, 12:21 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I'm Astryd and I’m the best cuddler ever!   I’m a Mini Aussie mix around 2-3 years old and I weigh about 25 lbs.  I'm a great size dog for cuddling and my foster mom says I have the softest fur!!  I came into the rescue with 7 adorable puppies who have now been weaned and it's my turn to find a home! I am very dedicated to “my person" and love to follow you around and literally be touching you as much as possible! I would probably be great off leash because I have a good recall and I barely leave your side!  I’m an expert in the house with no destructive tendencies and no accidents, but I might try to steal the occasional morsel of food if no one is looking. I’m mid-energy and calm in the house. Outside I like to stay by your side and maybe chase a ball. I do like to protect my house and property by alerting you using my barking skills. I may also bark a bit if I can’t get to you, although I am quiet in my crate at night. I am cautious and shy with new people, but warm up with treats. I’m good with other dogs and once I get acquainted with them I love to wrestle and play! I’m living with a cat right now and mostly just avoid him to avoid those claws! I'm very scared of young children so I should not be in homes with kids younger than 12. No matter how well meaning they are, something in my past clearly gave me a bad opinion of little kids.  I do need some confidence building as lots of things still scare me right now, but I love treats and pickup on training fast. My foster mom has taken me out and about and I do well overall as long as we take it slow.  Are you ready to be my person? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello world!  My name is Hadlie and my foster mom says I am the happiest and most beautiful dog ever.  I am only about 6 months old and have a lot of exuberance for life.  I am doing really well with learning some manners and that people prefer if I sit for attention rather than jump on them.  I LOVE people so much though that I can't help it sometimes.  Any age is ok, especially kids, but I'm still learning to be careful with smaller kids.  I am an australian shepherd mix so do like to herd things, including kids, sometimes.  I love to play with other dogs and get along with pretty much everything I meet. I have not lived with cats, but do bark at the ones I see outside the fence.  With a little training, I may learn to ignore a cat if it didn't run.  Did I mention that I love sprinklers!  My mom laughs so hard when I chase the sprinkler on a hot day.  I currently weight about 30 lbs and will likely be 40 ish when full grown.  I am still in the process of learning crate training and basic commands.  I'm smart and tend to learn very quickly when I do the training sessions away from other puppy distractions.   I do need supervision in the house still as I am very curious about everything.  I am good to use the dog door to go outside to potty.  Mostly I just want to play and be loved on.  I want attention so bad that I can even focus and hold still whenever I am getting attention.  It is my favorite thing.  Can you find it in your heart to offer me a loving home?  If you promise to love me and help me keep learning, I promise to give you all the love my heart has to offer and that is a LOT!  Please apply at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication  asap because I am ready to devote everything inside of me to loving you.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 13, 2024, 12:21 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Howdy, I am Handler I am a sweet boy who is looking for his forever home. I have lived most of my short life with a foster family and I am really excited to get on with my life and have a family of my own. Luckily for me I have been with my mom, brothers and sister. I have been especially lucky to spend an extended amount of time with my brother Holdem. We have made our foster family very happy we are very good boys. Holdem has found his forever home and now it is my turn. I am doing really good on learning basic skills. I still will need help on potty training but I am very smart and much prefer to go outside to do my business. I am eleven-week-old and weigh just over six pounds, I should be a medium size dog. But in rescue everything is a guess. Story
I’ve had Sevro since he was a puppy. I got him in 2020 from someone that just had a litter on the classifieds. I thought I’d have him forever but my landlord won’t let me have him and isn’t giving me a lot of time to rehome him. I can’t move out yet, so I’m in a bind. I love my dog he’s great, he just got into my landlords chicken coop and is upset.
