My name is Yona, and I am an 15-month-old Aussie/Pitbull Mix, and I am ready to be your ultimate adventure buddy! I am a high-energy, athletic girl with a heart full of love. I'm a total people-person and super dog-friendly, which means new friends are always welcome in my life. I've been working with a team of professional trainers (check out my reference at dogmagnettraining.com!) and I know all my basic obedience commands—come, sit, place, heel, down—and I can do them even when there are fun distractions! If you know how to work with off-leash dogs, I’m your girl! I've been well-socialized and can handle anything from keeping up with a mountain bike on trails to crushing it on long hikes. Once I've caught your attention and shown you the dog behind the name, you should know the facts: Age/Breed: 15-month-old female mixed breed (best guess Aussie/Pitbull Mix Training: Expertly trained in all basic obedience commands for duration and with distractions. Temperament: High-energy, athletic, dog-friendly, and people-friendly. Activities: Excellent for hiking, running, and off-leash adventures (with an experienced handler). Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Greetings, humans! I’m Bomo, the most handsome lifeform in the known universe (and the sweetest!). At 3 years old and 38 pounds, I’m basically the supermodel of the Milky Way. Think “show dog energy” but make it intergalactic. I’m an Australian Shepherd, which means my brain operates at warp speed. I love to learn, I love to play, and I thrive when I have a mission. Agility? Yes. Mountain adventures? Absolutely. Training classes? Beam me up. If you’re looking for a co-pilot for hikes, trail runs, or anything that involves moving your body and using your brain, I am ready for launch. People are my favorite species. I’m friendly, sweet, and genuinely happy to meet new humans. I haven’t met kids yet, but I’m such a good-natured guy that I’d likely do well with respectful little astronauts. The shelter said I’m good with cats, and I’m happy to share my orbit with other dogs, too. I’m good on leash, I’ll sleep in a crate after playtime, and I’m mostly remembering my house training after my time in the shelter! Now I just need an active home that understands that an Australian Shepherd isn’t a couch comet. I’m high energy, high intelligence, and high devotion. Give me stimulation, structure, and love, and I will give you loyalty that spans galaxies. AND LOTS OF KISSES! If you’re ready to start your next great adventure with me, apply to meet me here: https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 26, 2026, 8:36 pm

Story
My husband & I purchased Noah from a guy who lived across the street from us. His brother breeds Australian Shepherds and Noah and his sister were the only ones left. We usually adopt but Noah and his sister kept escaping his backyard. So we were afraid they’d get hit by a car. So we bought them. They’re both 5 years old. My husband & I are getting divorced and I have moved out of our house. I am living with my sister and cannot have them live with me as my nephew & brother in law are allergic to dogs. My husband hits Noah and his sister when he’s angry or they do something he doesn’t like. I want them to have a home where they’re not scared all the time and don’t get hit. They would do best in a home where the owners live an active lifestyle. Their breed needs lots of exercise. So if you hike, run, or anything active they would be excellent companions. I would prefer they be adopted together as they’ve been together all their lives. Her name is Sophie.

Story
This stunning guy is Misio, pronounced 'Misho' which is Polish for Teddy Bear. Misio is a 9 year old Australian Shepherd who is currently on a diet to get to his ideal weight of about 37 pounds. Misio is looking for a patient and mature household to live the rest of his years. He is working through some trust issues and is learning to let his guard down. But once he knows you are safe, he will be yours forever. Misio likes to be near people but isnt overly cuddly, he is content to be in his own space near you. He'd do best in a home with adults only and no other animals. Misio is still very active and he would love to be your hiking, camping, or running companion! He is very outgoing and loves to chase a ball around the yard. He is also very smart and picks up on training quickly. Misio needs a forever home that can provide him with mental stimulation and a physical outlet. He can be chill in the house, but is also not a couch potato. He is house trained and crate trained and walks well on leash. With a little bit of training, a dash of patience, and a person who will be active with him, Misio will be an amazing companion for years to come! Dogs are not placed on a first- come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting Misio, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationJuly 24, 2025, 6:33 am
