Hey! This little baby is the sweetest boy you will ever meet he loves cuddling and being a homebody but LOVES going to the dog park and being with other dogs and running around, he is housetrained, leash trained, knows simple tricks, and lovesss other people, he had a eye mass removal in february which could come back but other then that heathy as a horse, he had one altercation before i got him in previous home when 1 year old pulled his hair really hard and he snapped at her which is why i put not good with kids but i introduced him to my nieces and he did great and they’re 1 and 4 , the only reason i have to get rid of him is landlord issues it’s breaking my heart cause he’s such a good dog and the best pick, i wish i didn’t have to let him go, but i want him to go to a good home where he can be him!!

Story
Meet Hashbrown! A 5 Year old girl that been in the shelter since March 5th, orginally coming in so shut down that she wouldnt let anyone near her. She`s developed into a bright pup who knows how to get what she wants. While spending time with our front of desk staff, Hashbrown has shown us how much she loves being an office dog! Always watching our staff take calls and waiting patiently for them to end to start her pleading for yummy treats. Hashbrown is very affectionate, at only 29lbs she makes sure you know she can fit in your lap and will take advantage of her size to do so. She adores getting attention and will make eye contact with you until she gets the love she`s looking for. While Hashbrown loves her office time she adores the outdoors even more! As a fetch conessoiur, she`s ready to give you a run for the ages, but will always bring the ball back for some scratches in return. We recommend that Hasbrown start in basic training once in the home to help her understand the building blocks like sit, down, stay, etc.

Story
This stunning guy is Misio, pronounced 'Misho' which is Polish for Teddy Bear. Misio is a 9 year old Australian Shepherd who is currently on a diet to get to his ideal weight of about 37 pounds. Misio is looking for a patient and mature household to live the rest of his years. He is working through some trust issues and is learning to let his guard down. But once he knows you are safe, he will be yours forever. Misio likes to be near people but isnt overly cuddly, he is content to be in his own space near you. He'd do best in a home with adults only and no other animals. Misio is still very active and he would love to be your hiking, camping, or running companion! He is very outgoing and loves to chase a ball around the yard. He is also very smart and picks up on training quickly. Misio needs a forever home that can provide him with mental stimulation and a physical outlet. He can be chill in the house, but is also not a couch potato. He is house trained and crate trained and walks well on leash. With a little bit of training, a dash of patience, and a person who will be active with him, Misio will be an amazing companion for years to come! Dogs are not placed on a first- come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting Misio, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationMarch 8, 2026, 6:31 am
