Story
His name is jay he is an Australian shepherd mixed. He is 8 years old he is very loving, loves to play fetch and smiles when he sees you, he is really protective he’s not good with other people unfortunately but once he gets comfortable he likes them, he is not good with other dogs so I need someone who is willing to take him and train him. He was my brothers dog until my brother moved out of state and wasn’t able to take him with him. My parents are moving and can’t really take the dog with them. We would really appreciate if someone is willing to take him and train him we really wouldn’t want him to be put down, he is a good dog.

Story
Milly is a Mini Red Tri Australian Shepherd. We acquired her from a friend who bought her brother in a litter. She is potty trained, and crate trained. Milly is trained to follow you off leash on a hike or a run. She can also follow basic commands. She has been on many trail runs and fishing trips. She's great at playing fetch and loves being outside. Milly will truly be right by your side like a best friend when she warms up to you and get's to know you. She is instinctually a very anxious and nervous dog. Her ideal situation would be a family with no young kids or other dogs or animals. Patience is key when getting to know her. Additionally, a yard would be helpful for her to run around daily. We are saddened to have to make this decision as she has shown a pattern of aggressive behavior towards our 2-year-old son. We have weighed our options and decided she needs a different environment to thrive.

Story
Meet Steven Tyler from the Eightie's litter! Steven is currently 6 weeks old, 5 pounds, and we think he may be a Aussie / Lab mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Steven's video here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BRaDoE8GdMg&feature=youtu.be Steven Tyler may have a name fit for the stage, but this sweet little pup is all about cozy cuddles, quiet moments, and soft tail wags. With eyes that melt hearts and a calm presence that soothes the soul, Steven is the kind of companion who’s happy just being by your side — whether you’re reading a book, taking a slow stroll, or enjoying a quiet morning coffee. He has a gentle curiosity about the world, taking in each new sound and smell with thoughtful wonder. His favorite things include warm blankets, belly rubs, and watching the world go by from a sunny spot by the window. And while he may not howl like his namesake, he does have the softest little yawn you'll ever hear. Steven Tyler is the kind of pup who doesn’t need to be loud to be unforgettable — his charm is in the little things: the soft nudge of his nose, the way he rests his head on your lap, and the calm comfort he brings wherever he goes. If you're looking for a furry friend with a peaceful heart and a rock-solid bond, Steven Tyler is ready to be your quiet star. Steven is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Steven's new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Meet Jethro Tull! He is currently 6 weeks old, 3 pounds, and we think he may be an Aussie / Lab mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! Watch Jethro's video here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kFEZyFXESs0&feature=youtu.be With a name like Jethro Tull, you might expect a little flair — and you’d be right. But this pup’s magic isn’t in flashy antics or loud barks — it’s in the quiet moments, the soft looks, and the peaceful presence he brings wherever he goes. Jethro is a thoughtful little soul, calm and kind-hearted, with a love for the simple joys in life: a warm patch of sun, a slow afternoon walk, and a cozy spot next to you at the end of the day. He has an old-soul charm — the kind of puppy who seems to understand the world a little more deeply, and who offers comfort just by being near. With his soft fur, gentle gaze, and slow, steady tail wags, Jethro Tull is the embodiment of quiet companionship. He doesn’t need to make noise to be noticed — his presence speaks for itself: grounded, loving, and wonderfully serene. If you're looking for a pup with a poetic name and a peaceful heart, Jethro Tull is ready to be your loyal little melody — calm, sweet, and endlessly devoted. Story
Rocket is an energetic 2 year old blue heeler. He was a rescue dog. Rocket loves walks and playing fetch, and just being outdoors in general. He needs to be in a house with no other dogs or cats as he is just a 1 animal household type of dog. He tends to herd our dogs. Rocket doesn’t like strangers. He needs some training. Rocket is potty trained and a perfect friend to have. A home with a big yard would be ideal. We are heartbroken to find a new home for Rocket but we aren’t home enough to spend the time outside he needs. Crate included.
