Pearl is a bundle of playful energy and snuggly affection, already showing the heart and smarts of a lifelong companion in the making! Pearl’s favorite things in the world? People, pups, and playtime! She’s incredibly social and absolutely adores human attention. Whether it’s a walk around the block, backyard ball toss, or some quiet cuddle time after a long day. And speaking of fetch, Pearl is a pro! She’ll happily chase after a squeaky toy or tennis ball and bring it right back, every single time, with a look of pure joy on her face. Meet Sonia: The Cutest Little Lady Looking for a Forever Home! 8 year old, 55lb Sonia found herself at the shelter in the summer of 2025. Our team at Dog Coalition LA was immediately smitten with her. In play groups with other dogs at the shelter she was described as gentle, tolerant, and social. She tired out quickly and would adorably let volunteers know when she was ready to leave playtime by sitting at the door. She was affectionate with handlers and thanks to a dedicated foster, we were able to get her out of the shelter and into a foster home in September. In her foster home, Sonia remains unsurprisingly adorable. She has become house trained, crate trained, and gained loose leash walking skills. She enjoys going on joint walks with her canine foster sibling. She is friendly, gentle, and easygoing. She recently had a simple surgery to remove a couple of benign masses that were bothering her. Overall, Sonia is a mellow and sweet older lady looking for a forever home that will love and care for her and find her as charming as we do. Sonia is fostered with another dog. With slow introductions and proper management, we believe that Sonia could do well in a home with another dog given the right fit, which we are happy to explore with you! We also believe she would make a wonderful solo companion. Amanda is fully recovered and fully ready to be someone’s forever. 🐾 At 8 years young, Amanda is the kind of dog who makes every day feel a little softer, a little sweeter. After losing her home and being overlooked at the shelter, Amanda waited patiently while her younger companions were adopted. With her grey muzzle and medical concerns, she was passed over time and again… until now. Amanda has since had surgery to remove a mass near her eye and has made a complete recovery thanks to the care of her foster family and medical team. Now, she’s thriving in foster care and showing us just how much life and love she still has to give. Amanda is affectionate, curious, and endlessly endearing. She adores soft beds (especially ones with sides!), belly rubs, leisurely walks, and following her people around the house to check on whatever they’re doing... even vacuuming or taking out the trash. While she’s calm and relaxed most of the day, her playful, puppy-like energy shines in the evenings when she gets zoomy and chews on her favorite toys. She loves walks and lights up when she sees her leash, doing a happy little toe-tap dance. She prefers quieter, residential strolls or scenic spots like the Venice canals, but she’s learning to navigate busier environments too, with patience and encouragement. She walks well on leash, enjoys saying hi to friendly dogs, and is respectful of canine companions, even when they’re not in the mood to play. 🩺 Fully recovered from eye surgery 🐕 Dog-social with a respectful, playful style 💤 Calm, affectionate, and loves a cozy couch or soft bed 🏡 Would love a mellow, loving home — ideally with another friendly dog 🚫 Bed-sleeper alert!
