I am deaf and my other senses are heightened. So that’s pretty cool! I have some really pretty brown spots on my otherwise white coat. I feel it really makes me stand out in the crowd. I am the main character and I don’t need a supporting cast! I don’t really like being around other dogs and I REALLY dislike cats. Speaking of likes, I really like people. The older, the better! I don’t really enjoy hanging out with young kids and do best around humans who are 15 and up. My foster family thinks I am pretty funny. When I get excited I either hop or plop! I hop like a bunny and I plop for belly ribs. When I see you my entire body wiggles, not just my tale. I’m basically an overachiever. I love to be outside and I even like the snow! I am super curious and alert of my surroundings. I like to walk outside and my foster mom is working on my leash manners, but say I am learning! I sleep a lot, like a whole lot. I play in bursts and then lay down. I like to sit and lay right up against my humans but I’m not a lap dog. Like most bullies, I am VERY food motivated. I don’t want to brag, but I am really good at the sit command. As soon as I see my foster mom raise her hand in a sit command, I do it. Like. It’s. My. Job. Note from my foster mom- Aialik is a really sweet girl, but she requires a strong leader to make her feel safe. He's strong because of his sturdy size and the only reason no tiny littles other than that he is a sweetheart and gentle at taking treats. He's extremely quiet, hardly barks unless there's a stranger outside or he needs out of his crate to potty. He has the cutest whimper like squeak sound that I guess is his cry when he wants something or just to be with you. He sits, shakes and waits for treats, he stays when told to and is a smart boy just wanting to be loved. He lays on his dog bed when told and as long as his family or person is close he's good. He does great getting in his crate & staying in it, he like his benebone, toys & comfy bed! Hi there, I'm Vernon! I am a super snuggly sweetheart. I have the the softest, rabbit-like fur you’ll ever touch. I'm a bulldog mix with the cutest underbite, really, I'm a total cuddlebug and love nothing more than curling up close for a nap—or playing joyfully with other dogs. Before rescue, I was surviving as a stray on the streets for months, too scared to trust despite many kindhearted attempts. When I finally decided it was okay to trust and taken in, I had some serious wounds from life outside — I got some TLC, antibiotics, and love. But that is all behind me now and my foster says I've healed beautifully, both inside and out. I have been told that I can have a very serious look but I am gentle, affectionate, and ready to bond deeply with a forever family. While I haven't met cats yet, I am at my best and confident when I am with other dogs and would thrive in a home with canine companions or loving humans who adore snuggles. Now that my rough days are behind me, I'm ready for a soft bed, full belly, and lots of love—maybe with you?
