I'm a 3 year old English Bulldog and just like you I am looking for my bestest buddy too... Let me tell you a little about myself. Since coming into rescue I have learned a lot of things. The main one is rules and boundaries... What can I say I am a bulldog you know! Where I was before I didn't have rules and boundaries. I mean who am I kidding? I didn't even have a bed, toys, bones and even hoomans that I love so much. I had to learn a lot... Fomma says I am a very quick learner and I am always eager to learn. I have learned sit, wait for my food till I'm told to get it, manners and a very important one... Who's in charge.. Come to find out it was not me! I like it better that way honestly. I love to take walks and I am working on my leash manners as well... There are just so many awesome things out there to see and smell its hard to stay focused. I have worked so hard at it that I hope you are up for taking walks, cuz I don't want to forget anything I have remembered. Lets see... Oh yeah if you are wondering if I like other dogs... Ummmm it would have to be very slow introductions. I love to run the fence line with the other fosters here and the neighbor dogs. It's just when the gate opens I tend to get a little overly excited and so I think it is just best we keep it to playing on opposite sides of the fence. Now if you would like to go outside and throw some ball I am down for that any and every day. Sometimes I bring it back and sometimes I don't. It's obvious I am a very loyal dog who has had quite a bit of training. I do jump up a little only upon greeting you, but it is just because I am so lovey. I quickly stop when told Off. I am totally potty trained and will sit at the door if you don't see me right away and wait for you to let me out. I know sit, shake, down and stay. I haven't been tested on anything else yet. I wanted to sleep in my foster's bed, but was quick to sleep on the floor next to them when told to get out. I am pretty sure I was allowed on the furniture at my last home, but am happy to stay off it when told. I have a brand new little foster brother, who is a tiny French Bulldog, and I have never run at him or been overly interested in harassing him at all. He is my buddy and we get along great. My foster mom says I couldn't be any easier. I do get a little skittish when a new dog comes around at first, but only until I get to know them. Cars scare me a bit too, but I am learning to not let them bother me. I have been really friendly with kids and teens. It takes me a minute to get to know them, but then I love everyone. I have not been around cats, so I am not sure if I will like them. I don't bark very often, and don't make a whole lot of noise. I am crate trained and go in most of the time on my own. I am also a great car rider. I am pretty much ready made to be someone's best friend. I am looking forward to a home that want to spend time with me because I do crave attention and approval. So, if you are up for a dog like me, I can't wait to meet you. I know my foster family is going to be sad when I leave, but want the best for me.

Do you like to explore new places & try new things? Miss McQueen would love to be your travel buddy! McQueen loves being outside chasing the squirrels, birds, rabbits or whatever critter may be in the yard. Not sure if you know her story, but McQueen was adopted around this time last year and her person decided to dump her at a local shelter instead of calling us. She was at the ideal weight of 52# at the time of her adoption and now she weighs 74# (she was 78# at the shelter, so she is getting that extra weight off) So, she will need someone dedicated to an exercise program for her so she can get back to her ideal weight. McQueen is good with other dogs, cats, kids and she is crate trained and housebroken. I feel that she needs a physical fence because her favorite thing is to be outside waiting to spot a squirrel to chase! Once she is done with her outside adventures, she is perfectly fine chilling next to you on the couch.

When I first arrived to my foster home, I was scared and walked around with my head down as slow as could be. After a few weeks of unconditional love, I am a happy girl that loves to play and snuggle. I prefer a house with not a lot of steps, a comfy couch and loving humans. Other dogs? No problem! I get along great with my foster family of 3 other dogs, I just get a little territorial with toys sometimes- but hey, I've never had them before. My ideal family is one that will be patient with me while I learn to live this new and improved life.
