Say hello to Archie! Archie is a 3-year-old English Bulldog who came to us an owner surrender as his owner was not able to care for him. Prior to coming to us, he lived much of his life in a crate where he was not well socialized or cared for. Archie has made huge strides since going into his foster home and we have found that he forms a deep and loving bond with his person, and we think he would do best in a home with one owner. He is looking for a confident, experienced owner who will spend time to help him reach his full potential. Archie is happy with other dogs, and would do fine with other dogs in the home but is best suited to a home without children and without a lot of foot traffic. He does well in a crate, and he is also house broken. Archie has quite the personality and loves to go for a ride in the car. In addition to car rides, he absolutely loves his toys and will entertain himself for hours on end. Archie is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

Please meet Forrest! This sweet pup is estimated to be about 10 months old. At a young age, he was abandoned in a park. We don’t know what happened to his mom or if he and his brother were the only ones to survive, but Forrest is resilient with a heart full of joy. Forrest is a happy and playful boy who’s adjusting well to life in a home. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and people. He lives in a foster home with cats but he gets very excited wanting to play when he sees them so he accidentally scares the cats. While he’s gentle and kind, we recommend a home with older kids, as his youthful energy might accidentally knock over toddlers. He's a big wiggle-butt, a very happy boy! As puppies, these dogs were playful and engaging. Penny was adopted as a puppy to a family who was not prepared for the tendencies of this breed combination. Without any formal training, she developed territorial behaviors in the home and on walks that ultimately led the family to return her to the rescue. Primrose, Princeton and Percival's mom was abandoned at a home when her previous owners moved out. She was left out on a chain to fend for herself. Luckily the neighbors realized she had been left behind and took her in. She was in horrible physical condition and pregnant by to neighborhood stray (a black lab) that would jump the fence when she was in heat. It was reported by the neighbors that these 2 had had multiple litters together but none of the puppies ever survived. The neighbors children fell in love with mom and they are keeping her but needed help rehoming her very last litter (we assisted in getting her spayed). These pups are the most laid back and chill group I have ever seen.

Meet Mumu! A lovable, squishy-faced English Bulldog with a big personality, a tender heart, and a whole lot of charm packed into her 3-year-old body. Mumu is looking for a forever home where she can truly be a dog — enjoying companionship, structure, and the comfort of having her people nearby. She thrives when she has company during the day and does best with routine, consistency, and gentle guidance. She’s crate trained and genuinely loves her crate, often choosing it as her favorite place to relax and feel secure. This sweet girl has a playful side and enjoys engaging with her people, though her activity is currently more limited due to healing needs. She’s happiest when she’s included, supervised, and given appropriate outlets to stay mentally enriched without overdoing it physically. Mumu is seeking an experienced adopter, ideally someone familiar with bulldogs or dogs with ongoing medical needs. Her care routine is very manageable for the right person and will feel familiar to those with breed experience. Mumu does have several long-term medical considerations that require commitment and hands-on care. She will need daily and monthly medications, including monthly injections (which she handles like a champ), ongoing management of skin allergies, arthritis pain relief, and careful monitoring to prevent jumping or strain. She also has an upcoming TPLO surgery on her other leg, and we would love for her to recover in a home environment if possible. Down the road, her hips may require surgery as well. Estimated monthly care costs for food and medications are around $275. Her skin care routine includes wiping her feet after outdoor time and keeping her wrinkles clean and dry to prevent dermatitis — small tasks that make a big difference in her comfort and quality of life. Mumu would do best as the only dog in the home and has not been cat tested. A calm, attentive environment with someone who can be present during the day and committed to her physical limitations is essential. Bulldog experience is strongly preferred. Mumu may come with extra responsibility, but she gives back tenfold in affection, loyalty, and that unmistakable bulldog charm. FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care) Meet Biscuit, a 7 year-old Frenchie that her foster family affectionately calls "Grubs" . She's cute, short/small and a little pudgy ~ a big girl in small dog's body. She's pretty wrinkly and makes funny grumbling noises. You will not find a more affectionate bulldog! Gubs is originally from an overcrowded shelter in CA and has been a mamma before. Her eye was missing long before she arrived at our rescue, and the eye injury site is very stable and does not require any monitoring or maintenance. She's extremely affectionate and will want to crawl into your lap for cuddles and kisses. She's very cute and loves affection from people but will brawl with other dogs for affection. She's pretty good about food boundaries with other dogs. She is house-trained but can be lazy and will need supervision. She really like her potty-pad. She doesn't like the rain or bad weather. Some cajoling will need to happen. Grubs is currently in a home with 3 other dogs, two little chihuahua mixes and an English Bulldog. She will compete for attention so her adopters will need to be careful to give her attention and affection at the right time. The foster's manage well in the household by not giving in to her triggers but we do think that she would do best as an only dog in the home. She could be place with other little dogs that won't mind her being dominant. She will have issues with a larger dog in the home. Grub will require a family who will keep her active (she loves to walk) and has brachycephalic dog ownership experience. She would do best as the only dog in the home but with regular access to other dogs so that she will remain well socialized. Grubs does well with other dogs as long as there is good leadership and monitoring. She's has had a vet checkup. She was severely overweight at 42lb at her highest. She's down to about 25lbs. She's small framed for a Frenchie. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $400.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Buddy! He is a roughly 4-year-old, ~75 lb, Lab-Shar Pei mix with a high degree of intelligence, a desire to please, a love of play, and an insatiable appetite for love and affection. This dog is a true love bug. Buddy will follow you around everywhere if you let him. He's smart, attentive and highly trainable. He knows all the basic commands, plus "shake" and "high-five." He's really good at sitting and waiting for his treats and takes them so gently from your hand it's really quite remarkable. As for his history, we don't know much... Buddy was found on the side of the road by a true good Samaritan, underfed and covered in scrapes and cuts. Nobody claimed him. So, under the care of his pervious foster family, he absolutely flourished. He currently lives at a kennel facility, but with his prior foster family, he lived with a family of four, including two grade school-aged boys. He is very loving and sweet, but due to how strong and ready-to-play he is, he'd likely do better with adults-only, or a household with bigger kids. This recommendation has more to do with his size and energy level; he has shown nothing but extreme patience with kids! Buddy does best with a fully fenced yard, and with daily walks. He loves to keep busy with a bone or toy and will cuddle up right next to you almost the moment you lay down. He is house trained and will also curl up in a crate (prefers the door open) or on a dog bed. As mentioned previously, he's also very trainable and listens immediately when told to get off a piece of furniture. He will need a home without cats or other small animals. In a nutshell: This dog is quick to roll on his back for belly rubs and will no doubt provide his forever-home with constant reminders of what unconditional love feels like. Buddy is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.
