She’s Sassy. Silly and Affectionate. Meet Chickpea - a small Fawn TriColored English Bulldog She was a breeder mama dog, protective and bossy. She’s done with boys dogs and dogs in general but is curious and will smell then try to dominate if allowed. She’d like a human to treat her like a princess and let her snore all day and give belly rubs, butt scratches. She is crate trained and follows routines well. She does not clue to when she needs to potty (likely a result of being an outdoor breeder dog). Due to her lack of house training and humping behavior - she would benefit from a breed experienced owner. She does not currently exhibit any allergies or medical needs. Compact size and now a healthy weight of 40 lbs. Vet guessed her to be just 4 years old, her teeth are white and no signs of aging. Heartworm treated and on prevention, vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Hoping to be in her new home by the Holidays. Chickpea could be a city girl, live in a condo or apartment - go on leashed walks for exercise, sleep in a crate to stay out of trouble and enjoy patio time with humans OR live in a home with kids and a yard - her size and love of people make her a great family dog. Chickpea does jump up to give hugs since she's short and got little legs - she gives kisses. Bubbles found herself in a shelter in need of medical attention. Her eyelashes were scratching her eyes (entropion eyes), she had cherry eyes, her tightly spiraled tail was infected and her skin was in poor condition. She's had surgery to fix her eyes and had to have her tail removed. Now that she's been on an appropriate bulldog diet, her fur and skin are healthy too. The shelter aged her older, as happens often with a dog in medical distress, but everything she's shown us says she's younger, maybe about 2 years. She's been fine with most of the dogs she's met with the exception of Poms and fluffy huskies. Being a typical bulldogs, now that we've had her a while, she is hit or miss with her doggie friends. She doesn't like those floofy coated dogs; perhaps a bad experience in her past life? She is not a candidate for a home with cats. Ideally, she will be an only dog and you must have a securely fenced yard, no exceptions. She's now ready for a bulldog experienced home that knows how to take care of her properly and who will love her for the rest of her days! Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented. Hi, I'm Casper, and I am a bundle of joy and the best playmate! I am an Albino Frenchton, (everyone stares and says how beautiful I am. sure how old I am. they think I am about 1-2 years old, weighing about 25 lbs. I have some mild skin allergies, but they are getting so much better with the medication I am taking! I am happiest in a home with older kids, just because I am full of energy and am not always aware to not jump on my favorite humans! When I'm not perfecting my snuggle game, I love following my humans around, making sure they never feel lonely! I enjoy walks, playing fetch in the yard, and lots of belly rubs! I am crate-training and mostly house-trained, but I would do best in my crate if left alone for more than a few hours. My foster mom thinks I am the most handsomest pup that would be a great addition to your family! While I love my Hoomans, I am used to protecting my family from any dangers, like kitties, other dogs, squirrels, chickens or cows.
