Story
My name is Lola. I came to Church of Pug after landing in the shelter ( the nerve of those people). Im 6 years young , Beautiful, spayed, up-to-date on all my shots and micro chipped ( did I mention that Im Gorgeous?). Im a total Diva and expect to be worshiped another words a total bulldog! I'm OK with dogs out in public and at the dog park (admirers are fine) but I do not want the fans living in a home with me touching my precious belongings, you understand Im sure. I have lots of energy and love to go for walks, play fetch and frisbee, play with all my toys, dress up, snuggling up to watch a good movie or read a book. I would do best with a family who is home most of the time, working from home, retired or able to take me to work with them. if you are in the market for the perfect Bulldog Princess look no further, hurry up and fill out an application today!

Story
Fans of squishy, grumbly, and goofy dogs: your search stops here! Little Miss Squish Muffin is ready to find her forever family! This joyous and silly girl has won the hearts of everyone on our rescue team, and now it’s time for her to win yours! Squishy loves the company of her foster brother and is often found snuggling him or sitting on top of him! She will prefer a home with a calm male dog who is around her size and also enjoys the quiet life. High energy dogs, larger dogs, or female pups have not been her cup of tea. But give her a buddy who is happy being her personal body pillow and Squish will be in heaven! Miss Squish is a low energy, no fuss gal. She enjoys hanging out and lounging in the sun. She’ll happily follow you around and entertain you with all the wonderfully weird noises she makes! On walks she prefers a slow wander where she can take her time to sniff all the things. No marathons or hikes for this meandering queen! This little muffin loaf is a total gem and completely unaware of her own body! She’s often bumping into things, completely oblivious to anything other than that delicious snack you are holding! If she locks onto something edible, Squishy is on the move!  Her favorite things include peanut butter kongs, tennis balls, laying in the sun, licking her foster bro, and full body scratches! Miss Squish Muffin is estimated to have been born in December 2022 and weighs 44lbs. She is a Bulldog mix who is the happiest little goofball! If you’re looking for laughs and love, look no further than the incomparable Miss Squish Muffin! Medical Info: Miss Squish has a heart condition that she takes daily medication for and will require regular Cardiology rechecks. Miss Squish Muffin’s adoption fee is $450. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Per our rescue policy, unless specifically noted in a dog's bio, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old.  Fill out an adoption application for Miss Squish Muffin at: https://www.forgottendogsrescue.com/adoption-application ##2287188##

Story
Calling all bulldog LOVERS!!! The ones that love snuggles, slobber, sass, and everything else in between. Beefy BUNZ is all of that and so much more! He has the type of face that makes you almost get that uncontrollable urge to want to squeeze his squishy little face, as if his cuteness is too much for your heart to handle --- like your love for him is just bursting out in an adorable, squishy explosion! That's what it's like when you meet Beefy. You know it's absolutely ridiculous, but you just can't help it. You instantly love everything about him; from the way he snores, to the way his slobber slings when he's playing with toys, the way he likes to sleep in the weirdest positions and places, and lastly the way he loves you! Watch his video and fall in love with this handsome hunk's personality: https://youtu.be/7Qv5fVY9NqE?si=xhwIkdTsOrc3qFtb Beefy is believed to be an English bulldog approximately 5 years old and currently weighs 66 lbs full of love and very squish worthy rolls. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Although, it's pretty safe to say that this guy is definitely a descent from the bulldog family. I mean just look at that smoosh face and those wrinkles! The best parts about bulldogs hands down. We would love for Beefy's future adopters to have knowledge or experience with bulldogs to understand their personalities as well as fulfill their physical needs. Like making sure those wrinkles hidden within those sausage rolls stay clean, are prepared for any potential allergy needs that may or may not develop, and fawn over all the personality quirks that everyone loves! If Beefy could dream up a perfect home, it would be a home with a yard for when he wants to lay out and catch some rays but only short amounts of sun time so he doesn't get too hot, a toy basket filled with all his favorite toys, plenty of nap areas for him to plop down and show off his unique sleeping positions, and with a family that will give him endless booty scratches. He's a great guy to have around if you like to host or have friends over too. They just need to be prepared for all things Beefy LOL. Beefy kisses, beefy hugs, beefy slobber, and best for last....BEEFY SNUGGLES!!! He has no shame, nor does he hold back his love and will try to sit in your lap like he's a 5 lb Chihuahua if you let him. If you watched his video then you saw it first hand. Just imagine you're working from home and you need a little break from the computer or need a nervous system reset with deep pressure stimulation; you look over and see Beefy boy just waiting for you to hold him like a baby. He's a great work from home buddy because he's always there when you need him. Even if you don't work from home, he's still going to be there waiting for you to get home and smother you with all the kisses and hugs. Beefy would also do good in a home with kids as well. He has been around kids as young as 4 years old and has been fostered with kids. He's not the type that's going to smother your kids with affection or go out of his way to seek out affection from your kids, but he's not bothered by them one bit, and does well with them. If you're looking for a heart dog for your kid to bond with, then Beefy's not your guy. If you're looking for a house hippo that loves affection, loves doing his own thing, and has a silly personality, then Beefy is the boy for you. Beefy is very dog friendly and has done great with all of the dogs he has been introduced too. In typical bulldog fashion, Beefy can be a little bull dozer and forward when he is meeting a dog for the first time, but after initial meets are over, he's over it too. He likes to play and loves to wrestle with other dogs. Beefy's play style can be described best as a bold, bouncy, full of personality, often giving playful shoulder nudges and silly head butts. He's not going to win a game of chase by a long shot but he does enjoy them and likes to do the chasing in his own special way. Tongue out, rolls are giggling, piggy snorts/grunts are activated, those thick thighs are moving as fast as he can get them to move, and body is bouncing. That is the best way to describe his play style when he does play. Definitely entertaining at the very least! Beefy isn't all about play all the time either, for the most part he's hanging back and seeking out affection from people, so these playful moment are sporadic and not a constant. In a home, he would do best with a confident and playful lady friend that is tolerant of a more physical kind of play and also enjoys just relaxing and hanging out. Beefy would also be great as a your one and only too. He does not need the company of another dog to help him feel comfortable in a home or fulfill his energy needs. His energy needs are on the lower end of the spectrum and he is a happy confident meatball all on his own. He would do best in a home without cats. If the name didn't already give it away, Beefy loves treats and is very treat motivated. He already knows commands like sit, stay, leave it, kennel and is capable of learning more if you'd like. if you know bulldogs, then you know most of all these smooshy face potatoes all have a stubborn side to them and Beefy is no different and I say that with so much love and admiration. Bulldog stubbornness just comes with the territory and you either love it or hate it. I personally am a sucker for all the bulldogs and think it just adds to their charm. Beefy isn't even that hard headed either, sometimes he just doesn't want to do something and will just look at you with that sad pouty face that he's mastered. Beefy is crate trained and potty trained too. He's such a funny guy because for the most part he is quiet in his kennel and quiet in the house until he's gotta go potty. He will let out the funniest sounding goblin type bark letting you know he's gotta go potty and you cannot help but laugh a little bit. Beefy does great out in public too if you were to take him on a short trip to your local coffee shop or if you just wanted to go on a drive. He LOVES to go on car rides and will try to sit his chunky butt right in your lap. Which is all fun and games if you're a passenger riding along but if it's just you and Beefy, we do recommend a doggy seat belt for him. He loves car rides so much that he even knows the words, "bye bye" and will head straight for the car and wait patiently for you to lift his booty up there. His foster parents drive a large truck and when he's waiting for them to load him up, he looks back at them with this look of, "ummmm humans, chop chop, I'm waiting." He is such a character. Beefy walks well on a leash too and will sometimes pull towards something he wants to see and right at the beginning of the walk because of initial excitement but that only last literally a few feet and then he's walking like a champ. We are willing to test Beefy with anything you need us to in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Not Peppa Pig....Peppa, the Gorgeous Queen of Everything. I've been in my foster home for a few days, and getting to know my new fam. I've spent much of my time in a garage or dog run, so the cushy inside life is nice! I'm not ready to get on furniture or anything yet though. I'm potty trained when kept contained, I don't bark, I can sit, and I love affection. Everyday is really exciting now. I've adventured a bit. I LOVE it, but I do get a bit overwhelmed and need my human to reassure me. I get along well with older kids and am not reactive to dogs. I'm learning how to be spoiled, but I have a long way to go - I'll get there. Can you help me? Note from Foster Mom - I would highly recommend her to a friend. 5 Stars! Peppa is a warm 100% sweet Bully. She has lived a sheltered life and is ready to let her EBD Freak Flag FLY. Whoever is selected to adopt her is going get to experience everything for the first time with her, it's going to be an amazing transformation.

She is very active and always on the move-definitely not your typical laid-back bulldog. In her foster home, Sissy has shown that she gets along well with other dogs and is very people-friendly. She's food-motivated, which helps with training, though she should be given space during meals as she adjusts to regular feeding routines. Sissy has not chased the resident cat but shows strong interest, so supervision and careful introductions are recommended if a cat is in the home. She is still learning leash skills and basic boundaries, but with consistency, love, and structure, she will continue to thrive. Sissy is looking for an active home where she can be part of the family and continue to build trust and confidence. If you're looking for a devoted companion with a big personality and a playful side, Sissy might be the perfect addition to your home.
