What my friends at Seattle Humane say about me: · I am always up for an outdoor adventure, rain or shine! I don't bat an eye at traffic, busy playfields, or reactive-dogs.· I may want to be your only fur baby at home, but I still like to have canine friends outside the home!· My highest-value treat is your affection!Did you know that Seattle Humane has Puppy and Dog training classes? Story
Biggie is approximately 3 years old, he is a sweet boy with lots of energy. He is very strong so although he is not aggressive he is not a good fit for families with small children or babies. Biggie needs a fenced in yard where he can run around when you are not home. Biggie goes potty outside. He is very lovable and needs lots of attention, so if you are home a lot he may be the right pup for you!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  There is information you need to know about this dog before applying for adoption so please read his entire profile on our website www.collarofhope.org  BENTLY WOULD DO BEST AS AN ONLY PET.  HE NEEDS A SPECIAL DIET.   Bently came from a local shelter but we did get a lot of info on his past.  He was with his Mom but she passed away.  During that time, he did escape once and a dark-skinned man beat him unmercifully, even dislocating his shoulder, so understandably, he doesn't do well with darker skinned people now.  After his Mom passed, family took him in.  Observing some things at the shelter, they contacted the family with questions and they admitted that they and the kids teased him horribly with toys and food as well as hit him.  He was super hand shy when we got him and would cower when you went to pet and love on him.  He soon realized that it was nothing but kindness for him now.  Eventually, we saw his resource guarding from being teased and tormented when he tried to take a young dogs treat (the pup was crated with food, a bully stick and toys).  This can take some concerted effort to turn around in the right hands. Without these things around, he's a very friendly and loving boy even playing well and hanging out with some of the other dogs we've had him with.  It's probably best if he's the only dog in the home so there is no chance for altercation over food, treats or toys.   He's only 2 years old and has had a pretty crappy life so it's our goal to insure he's placed in the right home, so he's well loved, taken care of and happy for the rest of his life!   He is also allergic to both chicken and beef as well as grains (which no dogs should be fed).  It's easy to find single protein foods for him.  He's currently doing well on the Natures Domain Turkey from Costco.   If you think you can give this gorgeous boy a wonderful life and home, please submit our adoption application to get the process started!      Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 7, 2024, 2:26 am

Story
To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit http://www.bulldoghavennw.org/10_apply.html Meet Bully, a charming canine companion weighing in at around 35-40 pounds and believed to be around 2-3 years old. Rescued from the shelter, he's eagerly awaiting his forever family to help him adjust to the good life he deserves. While Bully seems to coexist peacefully with non-reactive dogs, being an only furry child would be his ideal living situation. With his suspected French and Bully breed mix, he's the perfect medium-sized pup. Bully is a blank canvas, ready to soak up love and basic training from his new family. Daily walks and interactions with the world would be a treat for this curious explorer, whose tail wags at the sight of squirrels and new adventures. Open your heart and home to Bully, and he'll repay you with unwavering loyalty and companionship.
