This is Homer, a 7-year-old Dachshund/Beagle mix who was found roaming the streets with his pal, Marge. These two are so close that they must be adopted together. They love each other and are very loyal. A bonded pair, we will not adopt them out separately. Homer is dog friendly, playful and he loves to be held. So sweet! Story
Remus is a sweet 9 year old Beagle who loves to snuggle. He is a rescue from a lab- which you can see from the tattoos in his ears. Although we love Remus very much, we have had to make the heartbreaking decision to find him a new home. Unfortunately, he bit our young daughter. We have managed the situation but feel this is the best decision. Remus absolutely loves people and would do well in a house with either an older couple or with a family with teens or older. He has never shown aggression to my husband or I or anyone in the past, he has even been great with other kids before, he has just been unsettled with a toddler running around the house. Although we tried some training with him he is still fearful and you can tell he is uncomfortable with her. Remus loves to go for walks and also loves to snuggle up on the couch with his people. Adoption fee is negotiable as we really just want to make sure he finds a good and loving home. Any fee earned will go to a local rescue.

He is up to date on vaccines and neutered. Heartworm negative. Ace currently lives with other dogs in foster care. He would be ok with other dogs or as a single pet soaking up all the attention . He likes to be petted, likes to follow you around, and is a cuddle bug. He is doing well with crate training and house breaking. He walks good on leash. He is friendly and social. Ace snores very loudly when he is sleeping. Ace has the typical beagle / basset howl when he wants something (usually food or attention) but does not bark constantly. Ace has not been tested with cats. Ace has not been living w kids but seems to be fine w them when he sees them in public.
