Nolan is 2 years old and about 25 lbs. He was running around a trailer park where neighbors said he got along with everyone people and dogs alike. Someone eventually brought him to the shelter so he’d be safe. He’s a long little guy with short legs, definitely some Basset hound in this guy. Friendly and easygoing so far. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Beetle is a spunky older dude who loves people and other dogs. Quite social and active for an older guy. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Please met Jax, a sweet, loveable 10 1/2 year old senior who recently came to BRAT when his owner relocated to another town and didn’t think it was fair for Jax to spend so much time alone. Jax has enjoyed being with the other dogs in his foster home, loves meeting new people, rides well in the car, and is crate and house trained. He is a smart little guy who learned to use the doggie door after being shown one time! Snuggling on the couch with his head in your lap is his favorite pastime time.
