She is house trained by using the doggie door, loves to play with her foster brother, and loves all the squeaky toys. Gemma is still learning her manners and would likely do best in a home without small children. Gemma is still learning about cats. Although curious about them, she hasn't been thoroughly tested with them. The resident cat stays away from all the dogs in the house. When Gemma isn't playing with toys, she is a huge snuggle bug. Honey Biscuit may be a senior lady, but she still has plenty of wiggle inside and out. This playful, ten-year-old beagle mix gets along well with dogs of all sizes. She enjoys being around people and whatever activities are bustling around her. When she gets excited, her hind end gets busy wiggling. Benny is a senior boy with lots of energy, enthusiasm, love and affection. He lives with lots of other dogs and gets along with everyone. He would love to chase the cats if he could so might not be good in a home with cats. He loves a chance to use his Beagle voice but is not an excessive barker; only uses it when he has a reason. He loves being with his human almost as much as treat and meal times. He is not much for car rides, he is good about riding but whines seems nervous wondering where he’s going. Guessing in the past car rides did not end in fun activities for him. He’s a very social boy, loves humans of all sizes and ages and is always happy for rubs and attention. Benny has great house manners and although he uses a crate in his foster home he would be fine without one once he knows his routine. He is fully vetted - current with his vaccines, neutered, on heartworm and flea/tick prevention and he is microchipped.
