Shirley was rescued from an animal testing facility after spending her whole life in a cage in a laboratory. This beautiful beagle is finally learning what it's like to live in a home with cozy beds and yummy food and treats and is doing amazing in her foster home with two other animal testing survivors. Shirley is already walking well on leash and loves to run and surveil the neighborhood at her gate! Super affectionate and loving, Shirley is good with dogs and cats, too.

Meet Jordan — The Life of the Party in a Fluffy Package 🐶 Spayed Female | Mixed Breed | 55 lbs Jordan is a happy, energetic, and affectionate girl who’s ready to bring sunshine into your life! Weighing about 55 lbs (25 kg), she’s the perfect size for outdoor adventures and indoor snuggles alike. Jordan was rescued from the euthanasia list at a Korean city shelter. A compassionate individual pulled her just in time, and she’s since been living at a private boarding facility, waiting patiently for her forever home. She has already completed her heartworm treatment, is fully vaccinated, and spayed — healthy and full of life! 💛 Why Jordan will steal your heart: Extremely friendly with both people and dogs No separation anxiety, no barking issues — just a calm and social pup Walks beautifully on a leash and loves outdoor time Loves to play, especially with doggy friends Prefers outdoor potty and is clean indoors High shedding (7–8/10), but totally worth it for all that fluff and love She hasn’t met cats yet, but she’s shown such a gentle and open personality that with proper introductions, she may adjust well. Jordan’s personality is best described in three words: playful, affectionate, and social. She’s not just a dog — she’s a best friend, a cuddle buddy, and your future adventure partner. If you're looking for a well-rounded dog with a big heart and a bigger smile, Jordan is your girl. ** Adoption Fee Information: The adoption fee covers international transportation and medical expenses, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, a health certificate, deworming, and other necessary veterinary care. In addition to the adoption fee, adopters are responsible for separate entry costs, which must be paid directly to the local customs broker who assists with the dog's customs clearance upon arrival at the U.S. airport. Details regarding the payment process will be provided later.

Story

Meet Rye Bagel! Rye Bagel was rescued from San Diego after his owner passed away and the family could not keep him sadly, so he was surrendered. He apparently lived primarily in an outdoor kennel with about 13 dogs. Luckily, the generous Foundation for Care of Indigent Animals in Spring Valley looked after him, got him updated on his vaccinations, neutered, a dental cleaning, and examination with the veterinarian. He had a growth removed from his leg, but the vet was not concerned about the growth. Then, he was transported to Orange County on January 17, 2026 and became a Bean’s Beagle. We were initially told he was 16 years old, but the vet said he actually appears to be closer to 10-12 years old. So far, he has been enjoying walks in the neighborhood at his leisurely pace, he is friendly with people and other dogs on walks, enjoys looking out the window from his favorite spot, takes his naps, and is a “delight” to have in the home. He has been kind and gentle with the kids in the foster home, and enjoys cuddling. Bagel patiently watches his foster prepare meals, but has not tried to take the food, good manners! Bagel does not appear crate-trained yet, though he prefers to sleep on a blanket or bed just on the floor outside of the crate or with the crate door open. This may be due to him spending much of his life in a kennel previously. He appears to know to go potty on walks or outside, with no accidents typically and does well overnight with house-training, which is great! Bagel is looking for his forever home in the Southern California area. He may do best in a home where he is the only dog, or someone willing to slowly introduce him to other dogs. He has done well in his foster home with neighborhood dogs, at adoption events, and in the home, but these interactions should be monitored to ensure they’re a good match.
