Story
Hello, my name is Bailey! I am a 1 year old, spayed female, Beagle/Hound mix who currently weighs about 47 lbs. I am a friendly and bouncy gal who cannot wait to meet you! Looking for a new friend to live life to the fullest with? I'm your gal! I am outgoing and love exploring, sniffing, and running in the yard for fun. I have lots of energy, so I'd be a great new adventure buddy for you; we can go on hikes and check out the beach! :) I'm a smart lady, but still learning my manners, so please be patient and ready to teach me. I'd love to meet you, and any resident dogs, before adoption. Come in to meet me today! Bailey ID# A0984610 I recently went on a field trip with a PHS Volunteer! Here's how I did: Bailey did really well. We went hiking and finished with a short jog. She was friendly and wanted to say hi to everyone and every dog, but also easily redirected as we walked on. She was curious and enjoyed sniffing all the new scents on the trail. She was a good jogging partner. She also enjoyed running in the yard once we were back at the house, but also settled down in the shade after a while. She was sweet, affectionate and likes all the toys (squeaky stuffed animal, rope toy and tennis ball etc.) I hope she finds a home soon!   Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Story
If you’re looking for a mutt with a coat the color of a toasted marshmallow with a bit of a frosting face, a long body, and floppy ears, we’ve got just the guy for you – Butch! A dachshund beagle mix, he’s just a bit bigger than a chihuahua with slightly longer legs that he plans to use to go out and explore the neighborhood. He may not be able to walk for miles, but Butch will happily accompany you on your errands for a bit of fresh air and to remind you to stop and smell the roses. Butch is very patient and friendly with the other dogs and adores face scratches, so he’s sure to be the perfect companion for you and potentially a doggy sibling!

Story
Low maintenance 9 year old 40lbs beagle pit mix named Junior who was a great companion to the family until we had our first child. We discovered that he doesn't get along with our child. We don’t want to give him away but we can’t have him with our kid, so we are hoping to find him a new home, with someone who wants a big lapdog and doesn't have other pets or kids. He loves adults and attention otherwise, just doesn’t seem to understand that our kid isn’t a chihuahua competing for the dog bed.

Story
I got laddu from Michigan, he was delivered to me in a van with lots of other little puppies going to other homes. He is 5 years old currently. He loves cuddles and physical touch, loves to go on walks, does not look like a beagle but he is a full breed. He does have food aggression and if kept inside the house, where he loves to be, he can be territorial. That is why we had to shift him outside so he is not territorial anymore but still does have food aggression. We don’t have time to take him for behavioral classes but I know he will be the best dog anyone could ask for if he loses his little temper. He has attacked people in the family, he was sitting on the sofa and I tried to get him up and he bit my hand so those are the reasons we shifted him outside in the back yard and since then we have not had any attacks but he still has food aggression. I am looking for someone who can love him and train him. He is such a sweet heart, I wish I had more time to spend with him and train him.
