He is learning basic commands, and doing well. He is good with other dogs and roomed with another small dog! He will chase a cat in the house but we believe with a dog savvy cat, he could do okay. He is ready for a household that can provide more training and socialization! He would do well with kids as he is very loving!

Low maintenance 9 year old 40lbs beagle pit mix named Junior who was a great companion to the family until we had our first child. We discovered that he doesn't get along with our child. We don’t want to give him away but we can’t have him with our kid, so we are hoping to find him a new home, with someone who wants a big lapdog and doesn't have other pets or kids. He loves adults and attention otherwise, just doesn’t seem to understand that our kid isn’t a chihuahua competing for the dog bed.
