We didn’t originally plan on bringing him into our home, but when we heard about his situation, we couldn’t turn away. He came to us through a friend of a friend who had no other place for him to go, and we stepped in to make sure he was safe and cared for. Since then, he’s shown us just how loving, loyal, and resilient he is. He’s been a great dog and has made a positive impact on our home in the time he’s been with us. However, after giving it our best effort, we’ve come to the difficult decision that we’re unable to keep him long-term. We have children with autism, and their needs require a level of structure and attention that makes it challenging for us to provide him with the time and environment he truly deserves. This decision hasn’t been easy, because he is a wonderful dog. We want to make sure he finds a home where he can get the attention, consistency, and love he needs to fully thrive.
