Story
Hello! Tucker is a phenomenal dog that is loving and enjoys the outdoors. He loves being outside, walks, and snuggling next to you under the covers. Absolutely no health issues, and is well house trained. He would thrive being someones center of attention, as he used to be mine! I have a fenced in yard, and would not deign to give him up to anyone that has less than what he is accustomed to. Wide open spaces would be great for his energy. He is a cute, cuddly dog. Half beagle, and has the cutest bugle. Loves trying to catch things. Even succeeds at times. He used to be leash free at dog parks. With time, I am confident he could again. I can no longer keep him as a pet, and would love to see him go to a great home.

Story
Meet Hazel! Are you seeking just the right blend of fun and cuddles? Search no more! Miss Hazel, here is a senior lady, but she’s playful and curious and engaged…which makes us think she’s perfect! Hazel loves attention and will ask politely to be lifted onto the couch or bed. If you talk to her but don’t lift her, she’ll bark just to be sure that you understand what’s going on here. She wants to be wherever you are, but her short little legs and loooong body make jumping difficult. Luckily, she's just a small 22 pounds. She settles right in for a nap after playtime or a walk, and will sleep as long as you will at night, curled up in the bend of your knee. She has not had any accidents in the house, but her foster takes her out after she sleeps and after playtime. Hazel plays a little rough and likes to trade toys with you rather than just give them up, so perhaps older children would be the best fit. She gets along well with other dogs, and she likes her walks, but let’s keep them shorter, please. Those little legs work hard to get her down the lane! She settles into the car once she finds her comfy spot and will watch the world go by through the window or enjoy a chew stick while you chauffeur her around town. Hazel prefers not to be left alone and will show her displeasure by barking for a few minutes after the door closes, so apartment living may not be her jam. She will rest quietly after a few minutes and await your return, which she will celebrate with wiggles and smiles, and happy little grunts! Hazel could live with a cat that would stand their ground with her, but its best if she doesn’t live with them, as she really enjoy chasing them when they move. If you want a sweet, curious, playful dog who just wants to be your best friend, Hazel is the gal for you! *Hazel is being fostered in Fredonia, WI. Story
Meet Amber! Hi! I'm Amber! As a senior who weighs 26 pounds, I have found myself homeless through no fault of my own. I would really love a new home because I love everyone. I like to be around big humans, little humans and other dogs. I have never met one of those cat things but would probably be okay because I just love everything and everybody. The most important thing you should know about me is that I am super smart. I know all my commands and I have perfect potty manners. I learn new routines very quickly and settled into my foster home right away. People say beagles bark a lot but I am pretty quiet and only bark when really provoked! Another thing you should know about me is that I am super cute. Just check out my profile picture. Everyone who meets me says "Aww!. The other thing you should know is that I am super sweet. I love to cuddle all the time. My mean foster parents won't let me sleep in bed with them but I would if I could! About once a month I have a small seizure where I stiffen up. It only lasts about 1-2 minutes and then I am fine, and I don't need to take any medicine right now! Other than that I am in good health and would love to be your walking buddy! *Amber is being fostered in Whitewater, WI. Story
Sydney is a Mama dog that is about 1 year old. Her previous owner told the shelter he left her and her 2 day old puppies at, that she is a Beagle/great Pyranese mix. She was not treated well at her previous home and is very human shy. We are working hard, along with her great foster home, to show her what love and care are. Her pups are tri colored and will be available in February. If you have any questions on Mama or pups or would like to make a donation to their care, please contact us.
