Story
Sydney is a Mama dog that is about 1 year old. Her previous owner told the shelter he left her and her 2 day old puppies at, that she is a Beagle/great Pyranese mix. She was not treated well at her previous home and is very human shy. We are working hard, along with her great foster home, to show her what love and care are. Her pups are tri colored and will be available in February. If you have any questions on Mama or pups or would like to make a donation to their care, please contact us.

Story
London has really been blossoming in foster. She is house-trained, has run of the house while we are away and sleeps through the night on a dog bed in our room. She has been unable to jump on our bed so far, but she`s working on it. She has accepted a crate, but does not need it to feel safe. It works best for the initial times where she will be left home alone until she learns your routine, otherwise she may bark when she sees you leave. She has mastered our stairs and van rides. She is not overly food motivated, but is a little interested in our dinner and is working on `sit` for cheese. Her notes from the past state that she was raised with kids and dogs, but for now we advise against a home with rambunctious, impatient children - this sweetheart is going to need time and space to decompress and trust. However, she seeks attention from children when she sees them, so a home with calm, patient kids would be great. A calm, confident dog buddy or perhaps even a cat may help but is not required at this time.London has a timid approach to new things, but she is brave and keeps trying. She was sleeping on our pontoon boat on her second cruise. She walks great on a leash, does not shy from bikes and is happy to see other dogs. She also has ZERO prey drive - Yes, a beagle that won`t pull your arm out or wake the dead baying for rabbits and squirrels. She is such a calm, passive observer that 2 chasing squirrels once ran between her and my husband (while on a 6 foot leash!), stopped, looked around (likely shocked) and then continued their chase.London is a sweet, cuddly little shadow whose favorite time is couch time. So, be sure to get your snacks and visit the restroom first because once you are pinned you won`t have the willpower to disturb her.You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/JrsPupsNStuffIncAsk to meet me today!!Adoption fee: $525All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. Story
HANKPreviously known as Bruno. Some dogs wear their hearts on their sleeves.Hank wears his quietly. After spending much of his life in a commercial breeding facility, everything about living in a home is still wonderfully new to him. Every day he discovers that people can be kind, couches are comfortable, and life doesn’t have to be rushed. At around 2 years old, Hank is a gentle Beagle with the sweetest disposition. He enjoys playing with other dogs, has wonderful house manners, and happily kennels up when asked. While he isn’t quite a cuddle bug yet, he’ll sit beside you for pets, lean in for kisses, and quietly remind you he’s starting to trust. His foster says Hank has become wonderfully attached to his people. He’ll happily follow you from room to room—sometimes so closely that you’ll want to watch your step because he loves being right by your side. He seems happiest simply being near the people he trusts.Like many dogs learning what freedom feels like for the first time, loud noises and unfamiliar situations can still be a little scary. Hank will need a family willing to give him patience, encouragement, and the time to continue building his confidence. The beautiful thing is that you can almost watch him blossom a little more every day.If you’re looking for a flashy dog who wants to be the center of attention, Hank probably isn’t your guy.But if you’re looking for the quiet kind of love—the kind that’s earned one tail wag, one trusting glance, and one small victory at a time—you just might find your best friend in Hank.🐾 Approx. 2 years old🐾 Approx. 37 lbs🐾 Beagle🐾 Located in Ingleside, IL🐾 Housebroken🐾 Kid friendly🐾 Dog friendly🐾 Respectful of cats🐾 Crate trained🐾 Microchipped🐾 Up-to-date on vaccinations🐾 Neutered before adoption🐾 Adoption fee: $500Could Hank be the gentle companion you’ve been looking for?Apply on our website:www.biggiepawsrescue.orgDATCP # 494550
