Smudge is 11 years old and belonged to my mother who has had a stroke, and is now permanently in a nursing home. I am allergic to dogs and my husband and I both work around 12 hours a day, so we cannot properly attend to his needs. He is very loving and just needs a proper home.

While he’s friendly and gentle, he’s understandably scared and needs time to build trust and confidence in new situations. Once Santa Baby starts to feel comfortable, his sweet personality begins to shine—especially if treats are involved!True to his Beagle nature, he absolutely loves to sniff and explore everything around him. He seems fairly independent, doesn’t mind the company of other dogs, and would do well with a calm canine friend. Santa Baby would thrive best in an active home that understands his need for exercise, enrichment, and gentle reassurance. With consistency, love, and plenty of adventures, this handsome guy has all the potential to become a loyal and happy companion.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only.
