Story
Sadie is very pretty girl, with the most soulful eyes brown eyes you have ever seen, and the sweetest freckles on her legs.  She's a happy and goofy girl, aways wagging her tail and often has a smile. She is gentle and doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She puts up with the tiny residence dogs when they pull her ears, jump up on her or nip her legs. She tries to play with them but they don't reciprocate. She would do well with another dog her size to play with. She loves to be outside and let her hound nose take over. She enjoys smelling the outdoor smells, perhaps sensing the bunnies or squirrels who visited the yard before her. Sadie is crate trained, but would much prefer being with her person at night.  She loves to give the people she loves her sweet kisses, probably as much as she loves peanut butter and cheese. Sadie is very interested in the senior residence cats. I don't think she would hurt them but they are not too happy with her interest and simply stay away from her. She has not had any interaction with children, but with her gentle nature and medium size, I believe a family would be good for her. Unfortunately, Sadie came into rescue with heartworms. She is under treatment and is in the final stretch of her treatment. If you are a hound lover, please consider Sadie. You will have a loyal friend forever. Story
Beast is a purebred beagle and just over 1 year old. He is very friendly but needs someone or a family who is home more often or just has a more predictable schedule. He would be great on his own or with other dogs. He would do better without cats but just would annoy any cats in a new home.

Story
Wendigo is a sweet, senior beagle who was found running down 127. We don't know if he was dumped or if he was just doing beagle things but we do know that he's an old man looking for a home! He's a smaller beagle with a sweet sugar face looking for a big yard or someone who enjoys long walks with plenty of stops to check the bushes for critters!

Story
Hi, I'm Lee! I'm a super friendly and loving boy that adores people so much it makes me get the zoomies!!! Even though I'm a happy boy now, I haven't always been this way... For the majority of my life, I lived in a tiny cage at an animal testing laboratory and was subjected to painful experiments every day. Now that I've been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I am loving my new life! Despite everything that I've been through, I am such a joyous dog now. I do well with other friendly dogs, too! I am active and playful and my ideal forever home will be one with lots of fun adventures and play opportunities! I promise to be the most loyal and loving companion ever for my adopter. Could you give me my forever home? I would prefer a home that has: lots of love! My location: NOWATA, OK If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org. Story
Hi all, I'm Portia, a super sweet beagle girl. You wouldn't guess it based on my gentle personality, but I actually spent the majority of my life in an animal testing laboratory where i was subjected to painful experiments. Did you know that animal testing involves experimentation on dogs and cats, too? Now that I've been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I'm learning what it means to be loved and cared for! I am slowly blossoming into the most darling girl. I can be shy at first because of my past but, once I trust you, I want nothing more than your affection and love. I'll do best in a home that has another confident and friendly dog to encourage me and make me feel safe. I hope that an adopter notices me soon-- I am so deserving of a loving, forever home, especially after overcoming so much. Could you be my forever family? I would prefer a home that has: other dogs, lots of love!
