Continued basic training will be needed, including leash skills, crate training, potty training, and everyday manners. With a growing body and a busy brain, puppies need structure, enrichment, and positive outlets for energy to prevent overstimulation, mouthiness, or the development of unwanted habits. A home committed to consistency, patience, and mental and physical exercise will help — grow into a confident, well-balanced adult dog. With the right foundation, the possibilities are endless! 💛🐶 • Around 2 months old • Currently around 10 lbs. And growing! • Good with kids, dogs and cats • Adoption fee: $400 This dog is currently housed at our shelter. If you are interested, please come in at your earliest availability during our open hours, no appointment necessary. We do same-day adoptions, do not hold dogs, and work on a first-come, first-served basis as long as it is an excellent fit for both parties. If you have questions or want to possibly schedule an appointment on one of our closed days, you may email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, preventatives, heartworm testing (if age-appropriate), microchip, and dental cleaning if needed. Future veterinary care will be the adopter’s responsibility.

Tracker is our crews big goofball. A retired hunting dog living out his best life is his senior years. He is VERY well trained and listens to all commands. He is slowly loosing his hunting drive, as well as his eye sight due to cataracts- but it doesn't stop him. . He is medium/low energy- his bursts of energy do not really last long and he is ready for a nap. Tracker is part of a bonded pair with his sweetheart and hunting partner, Daisy.

Tippy is a tri-colored beauty! She is estimated to be about 4 years old and weighs 38 pounds. Meet Tippy, a sweet and gentle soul seeking a new beginning. With a soft and submissive nature, Tippy is looking for a leader to guide her and a family to call her own. She only wants to stay close to you, looking to you for safety and direction. Tippy is very underconfident, she can cower and retreat when she is unsure, so a patient and understanding adopter who can help build her confidence is key. If you have a basket of toys for her, she would just love that, she really perks up when those are brought out! If you're the leader Tippy is looking for to help her truly shine, she would love it if you wanted to meet. She will need a home where any children are at least 13 years old with her insecure nature. Tippy has a soft, loose, submissive approach with other dogs and really comes out of her shell. She gains confidence when she is around them and her fear seems to subside when they are there. Tippy just loves other dogs so much and she MUST go to a home with another friendly dog, to help her grow and build confidence. Spade is a sweet Beagle who needs a very specific home where he can be safe, active, and understood. Rehoming him is not a decision I wanted to make, but after years of trying to manage his escape behavior, I believe finding an experienced home is the best thing for him. Spade is a true Beagle—his nose takes over. He has been an escape artist for about five years, and despite barricading and attempting to dig-proof the yard, he has continued finding ways out. He has recently escaped twice, so a normal fenced backyard alone is not enough for him. His ideal adopter would be an experienced Beagle or hound owner, preferably a single adult or couple without young children. He has been around children and tolerated them without an issue, but generally prefers to avoid them and have his own space. Spade currently lives with a large Rottweiler and does well with him overall.
