Tracker is our crews big goofball. A retired hunting dog living out his best life is his senior years. He is VERY well trained and listens to all commands. He is slowly loosing his hunting drive, as well as his eye sight due to cataracts- but it doesn't stop him. . He is medium/low energy- his bursts of energy do not really last long and he is ready for a nap. Tracker is part of a bonded pair with his sweetheart and hunting partner, Daisy.

Story
Barney is an early retired hunting dog looking for a family to live his best life. Barney is very smart and very sweet! His energy level is just right- enough to play for a bit but also enough to be lazy and rest the day away. Barney is dog selective so it is preferred he is an only dog in the home. a fenced yard is not required but recommended as his nose seems to think he is still on duty. Barney is neutered, up to date and vaccines and microchipped

Daisy Mae is a low key gall iving out her retirement. She is a retired hunting dog along side her partner- Tracker. Daisy's ideal day includes napping in the sun and maybe sniffing out a rabbit but not chasing. She is very low energy and stays to herself. she is very Quiet and independent, just wanting to enjoy a little peace and quiet. Daisy was recently suspected to have early onset IVDD, however- no symptoms have presented in over 4 months- She is now on a "monitor and treat as needed"

Story
Blue has had a rough start to life and is looking for his forever family that understands his disability. Blue is Deaf..... and being a deaf puppy is just hard! His foster reports: "He's been good with everyone he meets from seniors to young children, been good with cats, our dogs and stranger dogs on his walks big and small. He's smart and has been taking to training and hand signals, very snuggly...decent on a leash and tolerates baths and nail trimmings- he is however, a puppy and in his velociraptor phase" Blue in Neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. Blue would do better in a home with other dogs as it seems he follows their lead and it lessons his anxiety when being left alone. Blue would need a home willing to continue to train him with hand signals and be understanding of his disability. BLUE IS LOCATED IN PETOSKY, mi

Story
Adoptable beagles (bonded pair) in Ortonville, MI. This absolutely precious bonded pair needs a family. We’ve had Daisy (9yrs) and Stormy (7yrs) for several weeks now, mostly due to my lack of time to network them. They are such a darling couple and I know there’s a perfect home for them out there. They were a rabbit hunting couple and worked and lived together their whole lives. They’re now ready for retirement and are looking forward to being spoiled as family members in an indoor home. They would strongly prefer a family with children 7+ yrs old that will give them lots of cuddles and belly rubs. Daisy and Stormy are a bonded pair and will not be separated. No exceptions. They have been working dogs all their lives which means they lived in a kennel and are not yet house broken. I realize those factors combined with their age make for some challenges on the potential families that may be interested or willing to welcome them into their home, but I’m hoping all of you will help me network them far and wide to find their perfect family. Both of these girls are friendly and loving. They are relatively low energy, but I think they would benefit from a fenced in yard where they can keep using their little nosies at their leisure. They crate well and do not challenge fences nor ties. They are pretty quiet as far as beagles go and they have gotten used to our barn cats around here as well as many other dogs as well. My nieces (ages 9 and 11) helped me get these photos of them to demonstrate how gentle they are with children. I believe they have a lot of love and companionship to offer and I hope you all will help me share them to find that perfect family for them. They are both spayed, microchipped, UTD on vaccines, and dewormings, and HW negative. Their adoption fee is $450 (total/together)

Story
Cori 8 years old Attributes Single dog home Dog friendly Housetrained Good in cars High energy Requires a fence Adult only home preferred Cori is a sweet beagle girl with an adorable underbite who recently celebrated her 8th birthday. She was obviously very much loved in her previous home, but sadly, her mom passed away. Now, Cori is looking for a forever home where she can be spoiled again. Cori would do best in an adult-only home where she can have ample time to settle in – she prefers a quieter lifestyle and would like to be the only dog in the household. That being said, Cori would love to have regular playtime with other dogs and enjoys her visits to doggy daycare where she can socialize with other dogs. Cori hasn’t been around cats, so we don’t know how she would react to them. Cori will thrive in a home where she has a regular routine and will be walked at least once a day (and preferably more) to burn off some of her beagle energy. She is fully house trained, but she doesn’t potty on leash, so a fenced yard is a must. Car rides with Cori are a breeze – she’s the perfect passenger when it’s time to hit the road! If Cori seems like the beagle buddy you’ve been looking for, please contact Midwest BREW to learn more about her. NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
