🐾💕 Meet Athena — Professional Kisser, Playtime Expert & Your New Best Friend
Athena is one of those dogs who seems to believe that every person she meets is simply a friend she hasn’t kissed yet. 😂 She absolutely loves people, and as far as Athena is concerned, strangers really don’t exist. She’s sweet, affectionate, playful, and always happy to make a new friend.
Athena loves to play, run around, and especially play with other dogs. But one of the best things about her is that she also knows how to turn it off and relax. When it’s time to play, she’s ready. When everyone settles down, Athena is perfectly happy to lay down and relax too. She’s got a pretty good work-life balance for a dog. 😂
She does great with other dogs and really enjoys having canine friends around. Since she is still learning about her surroundings and figuring out how everything works, she pays attention to the other dogs and often tries to follow their lead. It’s almost like she’s watching them and thinking, “Ohhh, so THAT’S what we’re supposed to do. Got it!”
And apparently, Athena has decided that barking is optional. 😂 If the other dogs start barking, she usually doesn’t feel the need to join in. She’s perfectly content letting them handle whatever important neighborhood business they think is happening.
Athena is also very smart and a fast learner. She already knows “sit,” understands “no,” and picks up on things quickly. She is still working on potty training, but she’s doing really well and making great progress. She’s still learning, so a little patience and consistency will go a long way with this smart girl.
And if you’re looking for a road-trip buddy, Athena would like to submit her application. 🚗🐾 She loves car rides! She sits calmly in the car and seems perfectly happy to come along for the adventure. Whether it’s an actual road trip or just a quick ride, Athena is ready to go.
But what really makes Athena special is how loving and affectionate she is. She likes being around her people and will follow you just to see what you’re doing and be part of things. And she LOVES giving kisses. Lots of them. Athena is definitely not shy about letting you know when she loves you. ❤️
She’s still learning about the world around her, but she is doing such a great job. She watches, learns, plays, and takes in new experiences every day. She would love a home that will continue showing her all the good things life has to offer.
Athena would be a wonderful fit for someone looking for a dog who can play when it’s time to play, relax when it’s time to relax, get along with other dogs, hop in the car for an adventure, and love her people with her whole heart.
⚠️ A Small Warning About Adopting Athena…
Adopting Athena may result in an excessive amount of kisses, a new best friend for your dog, and a passenger who takes car rides very seriously. 😂 She may also watch your other dogs like they’re giving a TED Talk on How to Be a Dog and then immediately try whatever they’re doing.
She has two pretty simple settings: “Okay, let’s play!” and “Okay, I’ll relax.” She’s happy doing either—as long as she gets to be part of the fun.
Possible long-term side effects include: buying her way too many toys, laughing at how quickly she figures things out, and realizing that Athena has somehow made friends with everyone before you have.
Proceed with adoption carefully… she gives kisses freely, loves easily, and is dangerously good at making people fall in love with her. 🐾❤️
