Story
📜🛑 ROYAL DECREE OF LORD NOT TODAY, MASTER OF ABSOLUTE REFUSAL 🛑📜 Let it be known across all lands, kingdoms, and mildly uncomfortable situations… Lord Not Today has arrived as a stray on 4/6/26 alongside Duchess Don’t Even and Sir Nope, and he would like to formally announce: whatever you’re asking… the answer is no. Estimated to be around 1 year old, Lord Not Today is a young nobleman who specializes in the ancient art of politely declining everything. Eye contact? Not today. Immediate friendship? Not today. Trusting strangers in a loud, confusing place? Absolutely not today. This distinguished lord is not well socialized, and smiles are rare diplomatic events. He is what experts call a “slow thaw specialist”—meaning he will need a patient, kind, and understanding human who respects his need to process the world at his own pace. ⚠️ By decree, Lord Not Today is to be considered a flight risk while adjusting to his surroundings. Until he feels safe in his new kingdom, all exits should be secured and all sudden life decisions postponed (by him). BUT—should you earn his trust (a process that may involve quiet companionship, snacks, and minding your business), you will be granted a rare and honorable title: “His Person.” And trust me… he will mean it. Those wishing to submit themselves for possible approval may present their case at: 📍 Richland County Dog Shelter – Mansfield, OH 📞 419-774-5892 Formal applications may be requested via royal correspondence: 📧 dogs@richlandcountyoh.gov Proceed carefully. He’s already decided “not today”… but maybe one day. 🛑👑

Story
Meet Bonnie Bell! This adorable 4½-year-young beagle/terrier mix weighs in at a perfect 27 pounds of sweetness. Bonnie can be a little selective with other dogs, but when it comes to people, she’s happy to make just about everyone her new best friend. She’s loyal, listens well and would love nothing more than to be by your side through all of life’s adventures. Bonnie Bell will need some time to decompress as all doggies do. Bonnie Bell is not a good fit for apartments as she can be vocal. Fence is required. To adopt this sweetheart, please complete a non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org. Her adoption fee is $300.00 Questions? Email Marty@pawsandprayers.org. June 14, 2026, 12:21 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Shorty here. I am a happy, sweet beagle boy. I was beagling in West Virginia and got lost. Some nice people found me and looked for my family, with no luck.So I came to Ohio with them and am now in rescue waiting for my new family to love.I love people and playing and beagling. I will need a secure yard as I would beagle far and wide.I have belly bands that I will bring to my new home. I am 7 years old and 24 pounds. I was so skinny when the people found me but I have had good meals and gained back my boyish figure. **UPDATE** I HAVE BOTH OF THEM UP TO DATE ON SHOTS AND BOTH HAVE COME BACK WITH A NEGATIVE HEARTWORM TEST!! This is Bob (tan male) and Boba (black female) they are 5yr beagle labs mix together since birth neither of them are fixed I would be willing to split the cost of the procedure if necessary. I have not had the opportunity to have them around other animals so I dont know how they would be but they are spectacular around kids I am looking to rehome them because they are just not living the doggy dream with us my family dynamic has changed over the last year and it is not giving the love and time these dogs deserve. I am also moving in the near future and cannot take these dogs with me! located in central huron county
