My DNA says I am beagle/chi mostly.  My litter mates and I were rescued by some wonderful people from a bad situation in Kentucky. Now here I am in a wonderful foster home with Rose's Rescue. They are going to help me find my forever home. I am a friendly, outgoing love bug of a guy.  . I am neutered and up to date on vaccines, just ready for my new home! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Hi, I am Dot, a 7 year old 23 lb Beagle girl that is looking for a new home. I am the cutest,  sweetest little girl.I am spayed, up to date with vaccines, house trained with pee pads. I am  lower energy senior girl that just loves to be petted. I love to go on walks, and need a fenced yard where I can run. After all, I am a beagle and just need to take care of my beagling business! I have been around cats and kids, but would prefer a quiet home with no young children living in the home. You know, a retirement home. Well can't say I am exactly ready to retire, but a mellow place, as I get anxious over change. I also don't like thunderstorms, but doc gave me a calming med for that. After initial excitement, I walk nicely on a leash. When I see other dogs, I don't get excited or bark. However, no other dogs in the home please. In my youth I was with other beagles. I prefer my freedom and space of being alone. I am pee pad trained and prefer using them. It's easier for you to clean up. Hi, my name is Marshall! I’m a 1-year-old Beagle mix hoping to find my forever home. When I’m not wrestling with my four-legged friends, I love to snuggle up and watch TV with my foster family. Sometimes I get excited and whine when I see animals on the TV. I love being around my people, especially kids! I get along well with other dogs but I have not been around cats. I can be a little timid with new people/situations, but I adjust pretty quickly and am building my confidence. I enjoy playing with toys and chewing on bones. I’m crate-trained and do a great job of letting my foster family know when I need to do my business outside. I have a lot of love to give and really want to have a family of my own! Not only does Butters have high jump capabilities, but he is also an absolute sweetheart. He doesn’t know what a stranger is and he loves everyone he meets. Butters enjoys playing with other dogs, kids, and people. Butters is crate trained and potty trained. He loves getting head scratches, snuggling with his favorite people, and barking at his own reflection. He is a loving dog that will make a great companion for his forever family. Due to Butters' ability to jump over fences, it is recommended that a tether be used to keep him from leaping into the next county. Butters has a cherry eye that will need to be fixed. Story
Ren was adopted in April 2023 from a rescue in KY. He is approx 3 years old, born in Oct-ish of 2021. From what we know about him, he was basically living in a barn and was picked on by other male dogs, so he is not very welcoming to them so far. He has gotten along well with female dogs, but isn't too socialized yet. We have a cat and two children, he gets along well with all three. He is very friendly with all people. He has occasional indoor potty accidents. He's curious and energetic. Squeaky and crinkle toys are a hit! He's very smart and has benefited from enrichment toys. We are looking to rehome him because when adopted we were told he is a lapdog, he is not. Our schedules don't allow us to give him all the attention that he needs. He loves walks/runs, play time with balls/thrown toys (not so good at bringing them back to be thrown again, but could definitely be taught by a patient human), tug-of-war time, etc. He's a very good boy, we just aren't a good fit together.
