While she might claim toys as her personal treasure, she's a sweetheart through and through! Lottie’s dream home includes a furry friend to romp around with. She’s bursting with puppy power - energetic, playful, and an absolute cuddle bug. Her early days were spent in a Kentucky shelter with slim adoption chances, but fear not, Paws and Prayers is on the mission to match her with the perfect family. Be prepared for her playful antics, like nailing potty training and navigating the puppy nippy phase. This sweet girl is full of puppy charm and joy! She’s crate trained and does wonderfully with other dogs, kids, and adults. (Cats are currently unknown.) Starla is truly a sweetheart who loves to play just as much as she loves to snuggle. She would thrive in a home with another playful dog to romp around with, as she has plenty of puppy energy and a big heart to match. Her journey hasn’t always been easy, Starla started life in a Kentucky shelter where her chances of adoption were slim. They came to the pound as strays, and staff quickly noticed they did much better when housed together. Because of that, they may be bonded and are happiest side by side. Both girls are approximately 15 lbs and look like mini boxers. Both girls have been friendly with every human they’ve met so far. While they haven’t had direct exposure to children yet, they show very good potential with proper introductions. They also appear to have good potential with other dogs. Cagney and Lacey are still learning the basics of home life. They’re eager, attentive, and listen well when redirected, but they do need reminders—especially when it comes to jumping up to say hello. They are also learning proper leash manners and will benefit from continued consistency. A fenced yard would be ideal so these happy, energetic girls can run and play together. They are long legged little girls and will need a 4' or higher fence. If you’re looking for two affectionate, fun-loving companions who already support and comfort one another, Cagney and Lacey might be the perfect addition to your family.
