Tootie is a 6-month-old, 20-lb Beagle/Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with gorgeous markings and an even sweeter personality! Found as a stray, this little cutie is now looking for her forever family. Tootie is sweet, submissive, social, and eager to please. She loves people and would thrive with another playful, dog-friendly dog. She currently does great with dogs, kids, and dog-savvy cats. Like any puppy, she has plenty of energy and loves to play, but she also settles well when playtime is over. She’s making great progress with house and crate training and is eager to learn. Her Catahoula side means she’ll do best with an active family who can provide plenty of exercise, training, and mental stimulation. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, social puppy who is ready to become your new best friend, Tootie is your girl! Tootie's adoption fee is $250 fully vetted. Jed is a 3 year old male Beagle mix. He was found on the 700 block of White Oak. Jed will be available for adoption on 8/28/26 if owners do not claim him. Dogs are available to meet before their adoption date. The Dog Shelter's adoption fee is $64 (cash or check). All dogs come with DHPP, Bordetella , microchipped, a 1 year rabies vaccine, heartworm checked, 40X, and a current 1 year dog license. If it is an owner surrender dog, more vaccine information may be provided. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 10AM-12:00PM and 1PM-4PM and Saturdays 10AM to 2PM. You must be present to adopt and have a current approved adoption application.

Meet Storm! 🐾 Storm is an adult beagle with plenty of energy and a playful personality. Like many beagles, she enjoys staying active and loves having a job to do, especially if it involves chasing after a ball. Smart, curious, and full of enthusiasm, Storm would do well with a family ready to keep her engaged through play, walks, and attention. With time to settle in and burn off some energy, she is sure to make a fun and loyal companion. Update: Storm has now graduated from the GRC program! While at GRC she received one-on-one training, including working on her basic commands. Her trainer reports Storm is very affectionate and eager to please, and played great with other dogs. When she is tired out, she loved to sleep at her trainer's feet, and under a blanket if available!
