Story
Sophie, a 9-year-old beagle mix, is the ultimate social butterfly—she adores dogs, cats, people, and even carrots! She’s happiest on a stroll but also enjoys neighborhood watch duty from her favorite cozy spot. Though she was recently diagnosed with diabetes, she’s doing well with insulin management. Her BFF, Scout, is a 10-year-old shih tzu mix who started life in a puppy mill, making her a bit shy around humans. But when it comes to dogs—especially Sophie—Scout is all in. Scout enjoys walks alongside Sophie, though she prefers to avoid grass.Sophie is potty-trained, while Scout prefers using a potty pad due to lingering effects from her early life. Both are up to date on vaccines and looking for a home filled with love. Can you give this loveable, bonded pair a safe space? If you are interested in fostering, adopting, or fostering to adopt these besties, we`d love to hear from you!

Story
Marigold is fostered in Milwaukee. Marigold is a very happy, loving, curious girl. After a few days of sizing up her new life, Marigold started to take in the world around her. She wants to be near her people and is learning the joys of snuggling up on the couch. Marigold has the softest ears and squishiest face, and she loves the attention. As each day passes and she settles in, she becomes more generous with kisses. Marigold isn't wasting anytime making up for the simple pleasures she missed out on before. She is curious about everyone and everything. She knows the neighbors give treats, enjoys a carrying around a good toy, and loves to sit on a comfy bed and enjoy a bully stick. Best of all, Marigold likes to smell flowers. She's going love exploring the yard in summer! Marigold also loves dogs. She iniates play with her foster siblings with the happiest play bow. She would really love siblings in her forever home. Marigold keeps her crate clean and potties outside. She needs time outside to get it done, but that gets better everyday. She is learning the leash and just like everything else she's mastered, it won't be long until she's excited to see a leash and go for a walk. There's a big world and many flowers to be sniffed out there! Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Story
Merrybell is living in a foster home in Madison, Wisconsin. This beautiful adult female beagle was recently welcomed into our foster program. She was vaccinated, microchipped and seen by a vet prior to her release to our rescue, so for her safety, she’ll be kept away from other dogs and outdoor spaces to give their immune systems time to adjust. Each girl is settling into a cozy bed in a loving foster home and that’s a dream come true. Once she receives complete medical care, she’ll be ready for a cozy bed in her forever home. We are accepting applications at this time, but not providing a timeline for adoption. Patience is her #1 need. Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Story
Oak is being fostered in Mount Horeb.with three other Ridglan beagles. Oak was released from Ridglan and transferred to a shelter. When he wasn’t thriving there, he was transferred to our program. Oak is a very sensitive boy who is petite in frame. Though he is very shy, he melts into your arms when you hold him. He wants to love and trust and just needs someone okay with the process that will take. A confident canine friend and a fenced yard will be best for his journey. Interested in adoption? Story
Rosebud is living in a foster home in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. This beautiful adult female beagle was recently welcomed into our foster program. No age or weight was given at this time. Rosebud is a happy, healthy, floppy-eared wonder of joy, love and understanding. Her soulful eyes are full of beagle mischief, adventure and warm snuggles. She is ready for a future of green grass, squeaky toys and afternoon naps snuggled in next to patient humans. Rosebud currently shares a home with two dogs and a few humans. She has fit right in. As she decompressed from her past she slowly found out being a dog is a pretty cool thing! Especially when you can lap water out of a bowl, get all the nose kisses and run free in a fenced in backyard. She is beginning to understand how to walk on a leash when properly fastened into a well-fitted harness. Loud noses are still scary but she recovers nicely when a calm voice tells her everything will be ok. She loves a good song and watching tv is pretty cool too. She is ready for a chill, patient family who will celebrate all her achievements and help her get through the unsure moments. Rosebud is a petite, intelligent and smoochable beagle who is ready to soak up the summer sun in a forever home. Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com.
