Meet Ranger, the intelligent and active Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and boundless energy. This handsome boy is a fast learner and has mastered essential commands like sit, down, wait, and shake. He's so clever that he tackled a level 3 puzzle on his first try! Ranger is a well-behaved and well-trained pup, making him a pleasure to have around the house. He's house trained, crate trained, and shows no signs of destructiveness indoors. However, he does experience some separation anxiety when his human leaves the house, which is why he's kept in his crate during errands. But don't worry, when he's playing in the backyard with his furry friend, he's perfectly content and doesn't exhibit any separation anxiety. Ranger is an active boy who loves going on walks, and he'll gladly accompany you on all your outdoor adventures. While Ranger is intelligent and affectionate, he can be barrier reactive, meaning he may react when he encounters certain barriers or boundaries. Patience and positive reinforcement training can help him overcome this behavior. This is very typical behavior for both breeds and he absolutely has to be adopted into a Mali/GSD knowledgeable family/ Ranger was in pretty rough shape when rescued and the vet initially thought he had an intestinal disease. Nothing was definitively diagnosed but the vet believes he has small intestinal issues. He is on a folate vitamin daily and will just need annual lab work and a high quality RAW FOOD diet. Ranger's charm and charisma shine through in the photos and videos provided, capturing his playful and loving nature. I am a stunning, wrinkly-faced young adult female Belgian Malinois/Boxer mix with an adorable underbite who’s the perfect mix of energetic and relaxed. I am an unpredictable gal with a high prey drive so cats are not a good fit for me; I’m reactive when it comes to other dogs or unknown/sudden sounds like bikes whizzing by etc.; and I’m a pack follower so if there’s a fight, I may feel compelled to join the chaos. That said, I went to a training facility where there were many other dogs and I did great so I think with time, patience, and continued training I may overcome these ‘quirks’ of mine!! Hee, hee! Anyway, my favorite activities include cuddling with my people; going for leashed walks; snoozing on the couch; eating; playing with squeaky toys; chewing on bones/sticks; chasing the cat; chilling with my canine sib; running zoomies; and barking at strangers outside! I don’t like a lot of commotion and have been known to bite if someone comes into the house when foster mom is not home. I am, however, a very smart girl who will not only give myself a kenneled ‘time-out’ if I’m barking too much but I am potty trained and I know commands like “sit”, “down”, “kennel/crate”, and “heel”! Move over Michael Jordan because Air Bud is here!Hi, I'm Air Bud. My foster mom & dad say I'm a silly, floppy, loving puppy. I have a happy and curious personality. My foster dad loves my short legs and stocky body because it makes me rollie-pollie and sometimes I'm pretty good in my crate, especially if you leave me with a Kong chew toy that has frozen peanut butter inside. And I really enjoy our daily walks around the neighborhood.I get along fabulously with adult and kid humans. My foster parents say I would be an awesome companion because once I know you, I love hard and just want to be your shadow. And although I fit right in and enjoy playing with the 3 resident dogs here, I think I would be ok being an only dog to my people. I haven't met any cats yet, but I have shown zero signs of being possessive or dominant.My foster dad wants to keep me because he thinks I'm such a cool and fun-loving little buddy, but foster mom says they need to keep saving other rescued puppies, so another person/family will be lucky to adopt me. Hi, I’m Marley! Not the famous one but I hope I’m a big deal to you! I’m a young lady and learning quickly in my foster home. I am crate trained and happily sleep all night in a crate next to my people. I can also stay in my crate for up to 4 hours at a time during the day. Just give me a treat and I’ll go right in. My favorite is a Kong toy with a little peanut butter.A few words to describe me would be friendly, loyal and intelligent. I am a fast learner. I’m working hard on potty training! I can go all night without an accident if I am in my crate. My favorite thing to do is snuggle and I will curl up with anyone who will sit with me. I enjoy other dogs, kids and playtime. I have a squeaky duck toy and a chew rope that I must take to my forever home.I am learning to walk on a leash but hesitant of all the noises in the big world outside. I would do best in a fenced yard but not totally necessary. I’d be best friends with any other dogs you have but would love soaking up all the attention if I am your only fur baby. My fosters have a cat, and I am curious, but do not chase.If I’m around people, it doesn’t matter what we do!
