You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    DOB: 02/08/2021 Requires another dog in home: No, picky about her friends Okay with dogs of all sizes: Not good with small dogs - read more in profile  Okay with cats: No, dog savvy cats only Okay with children under 12 years old: Older, considerate kids only Requires a fenced yard: No Note: dogs must always be leashed whenever outside of a contained area. Invisible/ underground fencing is not recommended for most rescue dogs. Hello, my name is Raquel. I am a stunning, wrinkly-faced young adult female Belgian Malinois/Boxer mix with an adorable underbite who’s the perfect mix of energetic and relaxed. I am an unpredictable gal with a high prey drive so cats are not a good fit for me; I’m reactive when it comes to other dogs or unknown/sudden sounds like bikes whizzing by etc.; and I’m a pack follower so if there’s a fight, I may feel compelled to join the chaos. That said, I went to a training facility where there were many other dogs and I did great so I think with time, patience, and continued training I may overcome these ‘quirks’ of mine!! Hee, hee! Anyway, my favorite activities include cuddling with my people; going for leashed walks; snoozing on the couch; eating; playing with squeaky toys; chewing on bones/sticks; chasing the cat; chilling with my canine sib; running zoomies; and barking at strangers outside! I don’t like a lot of commotion and have been known to bite if someone comes into the house when foster mom is not home. I am, however, a very smart girl who will not only give myself a kenneled ‘time-out’ if I’m barking too much but I am potty trained and I know commands like “sit”, “down”, “kennel/crate”, and “heel”! Seriously, how brilliant am I!?! I am a great listener too which makes training a lot easier! Hee, hee!! I know that I’m a bit unpredictable right now but I’m still young and I really am a sweetheart who simply wants to find unconditional love in my own furever home with a patient family who will NEVER give up on me! My heart is SO full of love that I really want to share with YOU…please be my new family, I assure you I’m worth it! Love Raquel NOTE: Raquel has had a DNA test and is 38% Belgian Malinois, 18% Boxer and 17% American Pitbull Terrier Note that this dog has been treated for heartworm  and will need monthly heartworm preventatives year round for life.  Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders.  Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit.  Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.      ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. YOU CAN HELP: Not able to foster or adopt right now? Please consider sponsoring an Underdog. Your donation will help us buy dog food and pay for medical costs. 🐾 Meet Hazel! 💕 Your Next Adventure Buddy! 🐾 Hazel is being fostered in Mississippi, but included in your adoption fee is transport to you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport which is the most animal friendly transport on the road! Hazel is a 5-year-old girl who is smart, athletic, affectionate, and FULL of personality! She’s the kind of dog who is always ready to go do something fun—and then happily settle in beside you when the day is done. ❤️. Hazel currently lives with another large dog and does okay, but we think she would do best as an only dog Hazel is looking for someone who will appreciate her fun-loving, energetic personality and give her opportunities to run, explore, play, ride along, and be part of the family. If you're the type of person who says, “Want to go for a hike?” instead of “Want to stay home?”—Hazel may be your girl! 🥾🐾❤️ Hazel can be very excited when her person comes home, but the good news is that she settles down quickly. Because of that enthusiasm, she may be a little too exuberant for very young or small children and could accidentally knock them over. Hazel is ready to find her forever adventure partner! 🏡💗 She is a very amazing dog, but cats and small animals are a big no for Hazel. 🏡 House-trained and trustworthy when left loose in the house 🛋️ Doesn’t tear things up when left alone during the day 🛏️ Would happily sleep with her person 🎾 LOVES playing with balls 🚗 LOVES going for rides 🥾 Would absolutely love a hike or outdoor adventure with an active person 🧠 Smart and eager to be involved 😍 Loves everyone—she definitely does NOT meet a stranger! Your adoption fee includes transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Transport! Please message us if you are interested in adopting this sweet girl!

Have you ever seen a big doggy PUPPY? Well if you saw my pics, you have NOW! I have a perpetual puppy face, so very cute! I am a great boy and would LOVE a busy family to do fun stuff with then to just hang out relaxing with. I came to the rescue so long ago that all my family has been adopted and I'm still waiting ................... My rescue friends and can't figure out why. I'm a smart, friendly, happy and busy boy. I'd love someone to take life one adventure at a time with. If you know the Belgian Malinois breed you know that exercising my body is good, but it just makes me stronger and have more stamina ;) So you have to ALSO exercise my brain and I'm open to all the fun ways to do that! I love to be challenged and want to LEARN what you want me to do to be your new bestest friend!! I 'd love a nice family who will hike, bike, run, swim and play with me! I have a heart of gold and am ready to shine it right on your family, ADOPT ME!!! Dodger is house trained, leash trained, crate trained and loves car rides. Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our application can be found at haydudeequine.org. Well, butter my biscuit! Howdy, y'all! I'm Dolly, and I may be the smallest gal in my litter, but I'm pretty sure I got the BIGGEST personality! I'm a 4-month-old puppy, and my story started with a heartbreaking chapter. My human passed away, leaving my mama and all six of us puppies behind. Thankfully, we got our chance at a fresh start, and now I'm ready to find my very own forever family. We think I'm a Malinois x Australian Cattle Dog mix, which means I may have inherited some serious brains, a little herding instinct, and enough energy to keep life interesting. Mama weighs around 55 pounds, so we expect us pups to grow into medium-sized dogs. I may be the smallest of the bunch, but don't let that fool you. I have absolutely NO plans to let my bigger siblings get all the glory! In fact, I'm probably the most adventurous puppy in the entire litter. If there's something new to investigate, I'm already halfway there. If everyone else is wondering whether we should try something, I've probably already tried it, figured it out, and moved on to my next mission. And the brains? Oh, honey. These puppies are ALL smart, which makes being the smartest one quite the accomplishment! I'm basically the valedictorian of the puppy class. I love figuring things out, exploring my surroundings, and keeping my little mind busy. With my Malinois and Cattle Dog heritage, I'll need a family who understands that a clever girl like me needs more than a cute face and a comfy bed. I'll thrive with training, games, adventures, puzzle toys, and plenty of opportunities to learn. Fair warning: when you combine a tiny body, a curious mind, and a fearless attitude, you might end up with a puppy who thinks she can do absolutely ANYTHING. Climb that? Probably. Investigate that? Definitely. Figure out how to get the treat you thought was safely out of reach? Give me a minute. But underneath all that adventurous spirit and impressive intelligence, I'm still a sweet little puppy who needs love, guidance, and a family to help me grow into the amazing dog I'm meant to be. I'll need patience with puppy training, consistent boundaries, exercise, and lots of positive experiences as I learn about the world. I may be the littlest cowgirl in the bunch, but I've got enough courage, curiosity, and personality to fill a Texas-sized ranch! If you're looking for a smart, adventurous, pint-sized sidekick who will keep you laughing, keep you moving, and probably outsmart you every now and then, I might just be your Dolly. Apply to adopt me at haydudeequine.org. I'm ready to find my people and prove that the best things really do come in small packages! Love, Dolly

Story
🚨 ALIBI 🚨 🐾 Canine Criminal Unit | Official Rap Sheet CHARGES: Premeditated mischief, excessive mouthiness, stealing snacks, and denying ALL involvement despite overwhelming evidence. “Wasn't me, Officer. I have an ALIBI!” Meet ALIBI, one of six 10-week-old, 100% Malinois puppies who are officially ready for adoption! Look at that face! That tongue! Those ears! This boy looks like he's already rehearsed his statement and is prepared to blame the entire operation on his siblings. Unfortunately, the evidence suggests otherwise. Alibi comes with the full Malinois puppy package: highly intelligent, extremely active, and mouthy enough to make your hands question every life decision that led them here. These aren't couch-potato puppies who will be satisfied with a walk around the block and a squeaky toy. They need structure, consistent training, problem-solving, impulse control, and meaningful mental work. Physical exercise is important, but exercising their brains is every bit as critical. We're looking for experienced homes that understand the breed and are prepared for the commitment. 🚫 No apartments. 🚫 No homes with small children. 🚫 No inexperienced owners without a solid, breed-specific training plan. Malinois are extraordinary dogs in the right hands, but they're not a casual puppy project. These little criminals need humans who understand what they're getting into and are ready to help them become amazing adult dogs. ALIBI IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION THROUGH GOD'S DOGS RESCUE! He's ready to find his forever home, turn over a new leaf, and start a life of responsible citizenship. Will he? That's another case entirely. And if anything goes missing after you adopt him, remember: he already has an ALIBI. Local adoption fee is $350(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)
