I am a stunning, wrinkly-faced young adult female Belgian Malinois/Boxer mix with an adorable underbite who’s the perfect mix of energetic and relaxed. I am an unpredictable gal with a high prey drive so cats are not a good fit for me; I’m reactive when it comes to other dogs or unknown/sudden sounds like bikes whizzing by etc.; and I’m a pack follower so if there’s a fight, I may feel compelled to join the chaos. That said, I went to a training facility where there were many other dogs and I did great so I think with time, patience, and continued training I may overcome these ‘quirks’ of mine!! Hee, hee! Anyway, my favorite activities include cuddling with my people; going for leashed walks; snoozing on the couch; eating; playing with squeaky toys; chewing on bones/sticks; chasing the cat; chilling with my canine sib; running zoomies; and barking at strangers outside! I don’t like a lot of commotion and have been known to bite if someone comes into the house when foster mom is not home. I am, however, a very smart girl who will not only give myself a kenneled ‘time-out’ if I’m barking too much but I am potty trained and I know commands like “sit”, “down”, “kennel/crate”, and “heel”! Seriously, how brilliant am I!?! I am a great listener too which makes training a lot easier! Hee, hee!! I know that I’m a bit unpredictable right now but I’m still young and I really am a sweetheart who simply wants to find unconditional love in my own furever home with a patient family who will NEVER give up on me! Meet Ranger, the intelligent and active Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and boundless energy. This handsome boy is a fast learner and has mastered essential commands like sit, down, wait, and shake. He's so clever that he tackled a level 3 puzzle on his first try! Ranger is a well-behaved and well-trained pup, making him a pleasure to have around the house. He's house trained, crate trained, and shows no signs of destructiveness indoors. However, he does experience some separation anxiety when his human leaves the house, which is why he's kept in his crate during errands. But don't worry, when he's playing in the backyard with his furry friend, he's perfectly content and doesn't exhibit any separation anxiety. Ranger is an active boy who loves going on walks, and he'll gladly accompany you on all your outdoor adventures. While Ranger is intelligent and affectionate, he can be barrier reactive, meaning he may react when he encounters certain barriers or boundaries. Patience and positive reinforcement training can help him overcome this behavior. This is very typical behavior for both breeds and he absolutely has to be adopted into a Mali/GSD knowledgeable family/ Ranger was in pretty rough shape when rescued and the vet initially thought he had an intestinal disease. Nothing was definitively diagnosed but the vet believes he has small intestinal issues. He is on a folate vitamin daily and will just need annual lab work and a high quality RAW FOOD diet. Ranger's charm and charisma shine through in the photos and videos provided, capturing his playful and loving nature. He is very loving and loyal and wanting to please. He is inquisitive and enjoys exploring his toys and surroundings. These are just his first days in MN, having come from Texas, and he is having a blast exploring the snowy frontiers of the backyard. He is the sweetest pup and he is smart. Hi, my name is Cora and I am from Texas! Sweet little Cora's brindled coat is beautiful and fluffy. She loves to play and explore, and also loves cuddle time throughout the day. She is quickly learning to walk with a leash despite the recent cold and is progressing quickly towards being potty trained. Cora has a soft, almost timid personality, but she is feisty and energetic during playtime. She came to MN from Texas during the coldest month of the year and she is in love with snow! Cora is the sweetest pup and she is so smart. She catches on quickly to routines of kenneling, playing, sleeping. She loves her kennel which is a safe, happy refuge. She settles quickly in it for the night or during unsupervised naps. She has made remarkable and fast progress with potty training and just needs continued consistency with this going forward. Cora is absolutely adorable and will thrive in a loving home. If her personality and striking looks don't woo immediately, her sweet little puppy sounds while playing and yawning will!

Hi, my name is Acorn and I am from Minnesota! Acorn is young, cute, and full of energy. He's a great playmate for our other dog. We do have to watch that they don't start to play too rough. But when we tell them to break it up, Acorn is great at suddenly acting like an angel. He's got those big eyes that almost pop out of his head. He's not totally potty trained at this point, but we are working on it. I'm sure being in his forever home would only help with this. We also have a cat. Acorn does well with him too, but again we still don't leave them unsupervised yet at this point. Because occasionally Acorn will nip at him. But again you just reprimand him and he knocks it off. We have not had him around children at all, but my guess would be he'd do fine. As long as you keep an eye on them at first. He loves to cuddle when his energy finally runs out at the end of the day. He would be a perfect fit for any experienced dog owner. Or even a first timer, as long as you have the time and energy to give him proper guidance as he continues to transition out of puppyhood. He loves treats, but not rawhides (he swallowed one at the shelter before we picked him up, and had an upset tummy for a few days). And car rides (but he might try to stand on your center console and lick your face).
