I am a stunning, wrinkly-faced young adult female Belgian Malinois/Boxer mix with an adorable underbite who’s the perfect mix of energetic and relaxed. I am an unpredictable gal with a high prey drive so cats are not a good fit for me; I’m reactive when it comes to other dogs or unknown/sudden sounds like bikes whizzing by etc.; and I’m a pack follower so if there’s a fight, I may feel compelled to join the chaos. That said, I went to a training facility where there were many other dogs and I did great so I think with time, patience, and continued training I may overcome these ‘quirks’ of mine!! Hee, hee! Anyway, my favorite activities include cuddling with my people; going for leashed walks; snoozing on the couch; eating; playing with squeaky toys; chewing on bones/sticks; chasing the cat; chilling with my canine sib; running zoomies; and barking at strangers outside! I don’t like a lot of commotion and have been known to bite if someone comes into the house when foster mom is not home. I am, however, a very smart girl who will not only give myself a kenneled ‘time-out’ if I’m barking too much but I am potty trained and I know commands like “sit”, “down”, “kennel/crate”, and “heel”! Seriously, how brilliant am I!?! I am a great listener too which makes training a lot easier! Hee, hee!! I know that I’m a bit unpredictable right now but I’m still young and I really am a sweetheart who simply wants to find unconditional love in my own furever home with a patient family who will NEVER give up on me! My heart is SO full of love that I really want to share with YOU…please be my new family, I assure you I’m worth it! Have you ever seen a big doggy PUPPY? Well if you saw my pics, you have NOW! I have a perpetual puppy face, so very cute! I am a great boy and would LOVE a busy family to do fun stuff with then to just hang out relaxing with. I came to the rescue so long ago that all my family has been adopted and I'm still waiting ................... My rescue friends and can't figure out why. I'm a smart, friendly, happy and busy boy. I'd love someone to take life one adventure at a time with. If you know the Belgian Malinois breed you know that exercising my body is good, but it just makes me stronger and have more stamina ;) So you have to ALSO exercise my brain and I'm open to all the fun ways to do that! I love to be challenged and want to LEARN what you want me to do to be your new bestest friend!! I 'd love a nice family who will hike, bike, run, swim and play with me! Playful yet chill, loves other dogs, listens, and easy to train. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a family dog or sidekick to be a bff! He will do great as a hiking or running partner, or be your child’s best pal. He’s very curious about cats, a little too curious so I’d recommend a no cat home. He is a bigger dog so I wouldn’t recommend small children, although that is purely due to his size. Everyone that he’s met has been amazed at how personable and handsome he is, as well as how well he listens and behaves.

At just 11 weeks old, he has already begun potty training and will sit in exchange for treats. As he becomes more active and naps less during the day, providing plenty of bones, toys, and activities will help keep him engaged and prevent boredom-related mischief. He sleeps well in his kennel at night and is occasionally kenneled during the day. However, he greatly enjoys human companionship and is highly motivated to stay close to his people whenever possible. As with many puppies, Link can sometimes be mouthy when seeking attention, but this behavior is already decreasing. Consistent reinforcement and gentle reminders will help continue this positive progress. Overall, if you are looking for a smart, active, and loyal dog with lots of potential, Link may be a great fit for you.
