Story
Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: owner surrender within the state of Colorado From the foster: Hello everyone I am Fred or Freddy. I am currently being fostered in a home with four other dogs ages 13, 11, 1 years old and a pup 7months old. I am also living with children ages 11, 9,and5 years old. I love playing with the children. They give me belly rubs and we snuggle on the couch together. We all get along and I love having company. I am looking for my forever home and my forever family who hopefully have other dogs that I can play with. I am an absolute lover, I love almost all humans I meet. I would love to be your companion dog. I like to hang around in the kitchen while you cook, I enjoy listening to music and snuggling while we watch tv. I prefer to have another dog for companionship, they help me with my anxiety. I have been working on my anxiety, but it still takes me a few laps around the couch to wind down. I am fully potty trained, and am getting very comfortable with going in my crate by myself. I enjoy calm car rides. Although I didn't get taught many commands when I was younger, I am still a quick learner and listener. I bark some while I am outside but when my foster family ask me to stop barking, I listen and find other things to play with. My ideal forever family will be patient with me while I get comfortable, help me with my anxiety and will love me as much as I will love them. I can't wait to find my true forever family. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Story
Moby is a lovable and energetic boy who would thrive in an active home. His story is as heartwarming as it is inspiring. He was dumped at a post office along with his littermates, but his resilient spirit has never wavered. If you are looking for a loyal, fun loving companion who is always up for an adventure, Moby is ready to meet you!He has a playful side that shines when he gets to chew on his favorite toys, especially bones. He also loves to play fetch with a tennis ball! He is eager to find a forever home that can keep up with his playful energy and shower him with the love and attention he deserves.Like many rescues, he still has a few things he is working on. He can be a little nervous around men, but with patience and understanding, he continues to improve. He does best with supervision during playtime with other dogs and may be happiest as the only dog in the home. He will also need a cat and child free environment. He graduated from a month long prison program training on 4/3! He got an A+ report and learned so much from his time there. The prison offers life long training recaps after adoption which is a great way to keep up with training. He is at the shelter in Fort Lupton. If you are interested in meeting him, please submit an adoption application on our website and head to the shelter to meet this sweet boy! Please email adopt@souldog.org with any questions!
