Story
"I know what you’re thinking, “Oh look at that adorable St. Bernard mix!” We thought that too. Turns out, zip, zero, zilch, not even a tiny trace. Juno is a unique combination of working dogs (Pyrenees, GSD, Cattle Dog) and America’s best pets (Labrador & pittie). She’s 71 lbs, 3 years old, house trained, and refining her leash walking skills. Juno is smart. Her pastimes include food puzzles, toys, walks, running around the yard, and on weekends hitting up the chess tournaments and NY Times crossword puzzles (this has got to be the GSD in her). No lie. Some of her other breed characteristics run deep, cue Pyrenees, so a large fenced in yard is a must. She’s an alerter (also thank you Pyrenees) and will alert her family to the happenings all around when she’s out and about and on patrol. She’s dog friendly but plays a little too rough with little dogs (ah hem, cattle dog makes an appearance) so is likely best suited with a large playful, goofy male dog. Juno loves her people and is ultra snuggly (ah, there are America’s sweethearts the pittie and the lab) , yet thrives on structure and routine and knowing what the expectations of her are. She’s eager to learn, food motivated, and I’ll say it again, smart. We prefer a home with older kiddos. Juno is being fostered in Boulder, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/juno-3/. Story
Meet Rylee, a sweet, energetic 5.5-6-month-old, Great Pyrenees mix. Rylee is thriving in her foster home. She loves playing with the resident dogs and adores the 8 and 11-year-old human kiddos. She’s a typical, inquisitive, pup that explores the world with her mouth but she’s quickly learning the ropes and which items are her toys and which aren’t. Rylee is curious, playful, and smart. Because she is a Great Pyrenees mix, her instinct is to guard – Pyrenees do this by barking. While Rylee is not a constant barker, she does alert her family if something catches her attention. She’s hoping to find a home with a fenced in yard where she can enjoy the outdoors by burning off some energy and soaking up the sights and sounds. Rylee is in foster in Lakewood, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/rylee You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

Story
Hello, I'm Rooney and even though I'm a big boy, I am polite and gentle and sweet. I know lots of commands like sit, down, stay, drop it and ok. I am very social and like to meet new dogs and people. I am potty trained and crate trained. I like to go with the flow and even though I have a lot of energy to give, I don't mind snuggling up by your feet while you work or relax in the evenings. My tender personality makes me eager to find a family to bond with forever! I will do best in a home with no young children, I like to herd them as my instincts tell me to!  ##1744898##
