Story
Meet Marshal A Big, Handsome Softie Looking for the Right Home Marshal is a 6 1/2 YO, 90 lb male Bernedoodle. He is a loving, affectionate companion with a huge heart. He bonds deeply with his people and is happiest simply hanging out by your side. He is sweet, gentle with adults, and has an adorable, expressive face that wins everyone over. Marshal does, however, need a very specific type of home. He cannot be around children, especially small ones, and must be placed in an adults-only environment. He also has a low tolerance for frustration, and his anxiety makes him reactive. Because he is so attached to his people, he doesn’t like being left alone. He thrives in a calm, predictable home where he can feel secure. He would also do best with a fenced-in yard, where he can safely relax, explore, and burn off energy without added stress. With the right match, Marshal is an incredibly loyal, loving, and rewarding dog. He truly just wants to love and be loved.

Story
Hello, my name is: HenleyApprox. DOB: 7/26/2020Weight: 54.4 lbsSex/Breed: Spayed female Great Pyrenees/Bernese Mountain DogRescued From: Breeding kennelThe world of a house pet is brand new to Henley. In just a short time, she’s made some progress, but she’s still learning how to feel truly safe and comfortable as a beloved pet. Henley draws confidence and comfort from her canine foster sisters—watching them closely and following their lead—so she’ll need a calm home with at least one other friendly dog to help her continue to blossom. She’s still a bit tentative with people, but with patience and a soft approach, her trust is growing day by day. Henley is doing wonderfully with house training and crate training, and she’s starting to understand the daily routines. One of her favorite things is curling up in a cozy dog bed or quietly hanging out near her doggy pals. Henley needs a quiet, understanding environment where she can take her time and move at her own pace. With love and patience, she’ll become an incredibly loyal and loving addition to the right home!!Help us continue to step up for dogs like Henley and consider donating towards their medical care: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/donate-to-make-a-difference-in-animals-livesAll our dogs are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting? Story
Meet Mia 🐶💖 Mia is a 4-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog with the sweetest soul and the biggest heart. She’s super lovable, gentle, and thrives on affection—if you’re looking for a dog who wants to be near you, Mia is your girl. She has that classic Berner charm: calm, friendly, and happy just being part of the family. Mia is dog-friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs. She’s also crate trained and house trained, though—as with many dogs—some regression can be expected when transitioning to a new environment while she settles in. A fenced-in yard is preferred, as Mia is still a little nervous on leash and feels most comfortable having a safe, enclosed space to explore and relax. With patience and reassurance, she continues to build confidence. Mia would do best in a home ready to give her the love she gives so freely. She’s the kind of dog who will follow you from room to room, lean into you for hugs, and make your house feel like home. If you’re ready for a loyal, affectionate companion, Mia is ready to meet you. 🐾❤️ 📍 Mia is being fostered in Sicklerville, New Jersey and potential adopters would be required to travel to meet her. Story
💕 Meet beautiful Billie Jo! 💕 Sweet 6-year-old Billie Jo recently arrived from a puppy mill, after spending her life in a kennel in a dark barn, whose only job was to have puppies. She never experienced love, toys, treats or any any joy. She is slowly learning to trust humans, and how to be a dog. 💛 About Billie Jo: • Bernese Mountain dog • 65lb • Loves other dogs and needs a canine friend to help show her the way • Must have a fenced in yard • She is a gentle, affectionate girl who is very shy and submissive when meeting new people or dogs, so must have a patient family who will give her time to come out of her shell. 📍Being fostered in Titusville, NJ

Story
Mackinaw Have you ever watched the TV show, “The Incredible Dr. Pol”? Well, my foster mom has been binge watching the show and trying to figure out a name for me and since the show is based in Michigan, she came up with my name, which is Mackinaw. It means ‘large turtle’ in the Ojibwa language, one of the Indian tribes in the area. I don’t think I look like a large turtle but whatever…. I am probably a Bernese Mountain Dog mix of some sort, and I am very loveable and sweet. I was found in the middle of the road and my foster mom was concerned that I was thrown from a car because I was not using my left rear leg as well as I was using the right one. But after some crate rest for a week and a visit to the vet to get an exam and some x-rays done, I am happy to say that nothing is broken and I am using my legs like I am supposed to now. Very good news! I will probably be a large medium or a small large size, if that makes sense. About 50-60 pounds or so. But since my breed is based on my handsomely good looks, it is hard to tell how big I will be when I grow up. And my breed is just a guess anyhow, only a DNA test will tell for sure, but I am 100% purebred lover boy. I was born about the third of November of 2025 and will be available for my new forever home after I get fixed in January 2026. Adoption fee in Texas is $250. Out of State adoption fee is $550 with transport and fuel surcharge.
