Story
GiGi is a cool f’ing dog! I have fostered over 200 dogs in the past seven years and she is the smartest dog I’ve ever met. After teaching her basic commands, we quickly moved onto agility work, scent work, and advanced obedience. She is still young - just over a year old – and has unlimited potential! She’s one of those dogs who you swear understands every word you say and she responds to whatever energy you put out. Loves kids, great in the car, adores playing in water, and is an absolute master at fetch! She is a dominant female, so would be best as either an only dog or with a submissive male playmate. She will chase anything that moves so probably not a good fit for cats. Will exceed expectations for anyone who appreciates a well-trained or working breed dog; she shines when she has a job to do, but is also just fun to play with. Up-to-date on all vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped!

Story
Rosie is a very friendly puppy who gets along with every dog and person she has met. She was found as a stray and we have tried to incorporate her into our family but our schedule is too busy to keep up with the needs of a puppy or have a large dog. She is housebroken, crate trained and learning basic commands. She was recently spayed and is also up to date on all of her vaccinations. She’s great with kids. She’s about 50lbs now and the vet expects her to be 60-80 lbs. she’s very sweet and loves to snuggle and also play.

Story
When you walk in the door, this beauty will always give you the ultimate fangirl welcome. Shayleen loves her people and always makes sure they get a proper welcome. She’s never met a stranger, so she sees everyone as ‘her people.’  Shayleen loves to go on leisurely walks with her focus on taking in the good sniffs vs. getting in steps. Shayleen loves to sniff, in fact, it seems to be one of her favorite pastimes. She likes to bring one of her favorite toys along while she walks. She seems to think that they appreciate the fresh air too. Her stuffed ball, her rubber kong, and her baseball are some of her go-to toys. But, if she doesn’t start out her walk with a toy, she will usually find one along the way. She can’t miss an opportunity to make a friend. She also loves balls and is willing to fetch them, but she will bring the ball back to you in her own time. She loves her exercise but appreciates her downtime as well. Shayleen has a wonderfully balanced approach to life.  Shayleen is 7 years old and about 50 pounds. She’s been learning her manners and is becoming quite the polite lady. She doesn’t mind walking on busier trails or around doggy friends but isn’t interested in living with another dog. She’d prefer a place that she could call her own.  If you’re looking for that special someone, apply to adopt Shayleen.     For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.   http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms   Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.   Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Please ensure you understand those restrictions prior to choosing a dog. We verify rental policies and adhere to any restrictions.           October 4, 2023, 11:46 am

Story
Meet Rita! Sweet Rita spent over 4 months sitting in an overcrowded metro area shelter just waiting to be saved after her puppies were aborted. We can only imagine how sad, confused, and scared she was! That's all behind her now though! Rita is such a sweet happy girl now that she's out of the shelter and settled into her foster home! She spends her days running and playing with all of her dog friends and her nights snuggled up with a soft blanket - no more scary shelters for her! The one final piece of Rita's Happily Ever After still missing is her very own forever family! Could that be you? Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Rita is a happy-go-lucky gal who loves playing and snuggling up to her people. If no one is available for playtime, she is happy to entertain herself by throwing balls and toys up in the air and catching them. She's just the kind of dog that can always put you in a better mood!  Lucky gal Rita landed at animal control as a stray in the Fall. But by Winter a Good Samaritan plucked her out as a foster and put her through training to make her stand out from the crowd. While in training, she learned to temper her play with other dogs a bit, as she used to have a tendency to get over-stimulated and rowdy.  Over time, Rita has learned how to politely engage with other pups and to pick up on their cues when they're tired of playing. She is very eager to please and learn, so she looks forward to her very own person who can continue to show her the ropes of pet life. This is theirs to the home are a little bit stressful to Rita, so at this time we are looking for a child free, low traffic home for her. As far as love goes, it comes quite naturally to Miss Rita. She is always happy to greet you and lean into you for affection.  See more photos/videos of sweet Rita: https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B18J058xyJs6jWO Age:  1-2 years Weight: 35 lbs Temperament: Very friendly with people, but needs a slow intro to home visitors; energetically playful with dogs Training: Housetrained, crate-trained and knows commands Vetting: Spay/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Please expect an adoption fee of $300; some of our urgent or long-term dogs have discounted fees.October 4, 2023, 11:01 am
