Meet Rita! Sweet Rita spent over 4 months sitting in an overcrowded metro area shelter just waiting to be saved after her puppies were aborted. We can only imagine how sad, confused, and scared she was! That's all behind her now though! Rita is such a sweet happy girl now that she's out of the shelter and settled into her foster home! She spends her days running and playing with all of her dog friends and her nights snuggled up with a soft blanket - no more scary shelters for her! Located in Atlanta, GA Meet Kelly from the Office Litter! 🐾 Kelly has been part of our rescue since she was just a tiny puppy, born to a Miniature Pinscher mix mama weighing about 20 lbs. We suspect dad may have been a Black Mouth Cur mix, giving her that unique look and well-rounded personality. She was raised in our Best Chance Program, where she built a strong foundation in confidence, structure, and basic training. Now almost a year old and around 35 lbs, Kelly has grown into an incredible young dog. She does well with other dogs, loves people (including kids), walks beautifully on a leash, and settles nicely in the crate. She understands the “place” command and has proven to be an easy, enjoyable dog to live with. She’s playful when it’s time to play, but knows how to relax and just be part of the home. Kelly was recently returned to the rescue through no fault of her own. Due to changes in her previous family’s living situation, they were no longer able to keep her. While that’s never an easy transition, Kelly has handled it well and is ready to move forward with a family who can give her the stability she deserves. This handsome boy is Mack! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog with ID on 2/12, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Mack as a playful and silly boy! He is a happy, busybody with lots of energy. Mack does know how to sit nicely in exchange for treats! If you're looking for a dog to join you on the trails or on runs, please come meet Mack...he's always up for a good adventure! Mack is approximately 2 years old, and weighs 50 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, has been neutered and microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. Mack is waiting patiently in kennel 18; his ID # is 16950. We found Harley abandoned by railroad tracks in December of last year. We’ve been keeping her at our house, but we want to find her forever home. She is extremely cuddly, sweet and amazing with children. She treats her one year-old son as her own baby and never has shown even the slightest sign of aggression— she is nothing but gentle. She is trained off the leash and is a really good listener. She gets the zoomies and loves to run outside. She is extremely loyal and has a soft, gentle personality. She’s very emotional emotionally in tune and picks up on people’s feelings. It takes her a second to get comfortable but once she is, she’s the sweetest dog. She is extremely intelligent and would do great as a family dog and space to run around. We took her to get a check up where she got up to date on all shots, neutered, and they aged her between 1 and 2.

I’m happy to follow you out into the yard for a game of Catch (we’re working on Fetch), and you will absolutely adore my butt-scoot zoomies—where my back end tries to outrun my front! Just as easily, I’ll happily curl up with my person for a lazy afternoon. I make an excellent work-from-home buddy and am a big fan of couch time.I can be a little wary of strangers at first, and I’ll let you know it with a bark that *sounds* very serious—but don’t be fooled.
