Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org ScrappyDoo - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey all you fabulous people out there, let me introduce myself. I'm ScrappyDoo and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I am super sweet, but still a little nervous around people, so I will need a little extra time to adjust to a new home. Some of my favorite things to do is take naps and wrestle with my brother Scooby Doo. I love to snuggle on the couch and watch TV, but will also plead with my big, brown puppy dog eyes for some scratches. I am your typical silly pup and know that I will make a great best friend! I'm about 5 months old and come in at around 20lbs. I should be a great size (40-50lbs)when I get myself all the way growed up. I'm gonna be that perfectly pawsome size for ALL adventures, from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting! I am a loving lil fella that loves his people both tall and small but do remember I still have those sharp lil teeth and nails. I has got a beautiful coat and such an expressive face you'll have a hard time telling me 'no' even when getting into puppy shenanigans!! I has got a sweet nature that does love to run around and play with all the other foster pups here. I do really well playing with the other pups but I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet, but at my young age and with proper introductions I should be fine with them too! I am sooooo ready to unleash all this awesomeness and be that lil heartbeat at your feet. So, if you think I could be a pawsome fit for you and your lifestyle, please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application! It can be found at haydudeequine.org

Story
Hi there, I am Gigi,If you are looking for a confident, compact, and charming girl to join your family then stop looking you found her!I live with many dogs at my foster’s house, and I get along with all of them. Some of the best things in life for me are taking a long walk with my people, playing with my dog friends, and of course eating. I think the best home for me would be with at least one more dog to play with, a yard with some bushes that I could hide in and run around. I like to be active, so if you were hikers or runners or beachcombers, I think I would be in heaven. I love car rides, especially if I can stick my head out the window. Woo-hoo!I haven’t lived with children, but I have seen them playing in the park and they don’t scare me. I like to chase cats if I get a chance. When we go for a walk, I like to greet other dogs with a friendly sniff. I am a happy girl.If it sounds like I could be the dog you would love, then fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Love you already!Gigi To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Hi there, I am Mila!I am so glad you are looking at my profile, I am ready for a new home, and I hope it is with you.I am pretty sure that I have some Labrador in me because I love all things Lab. I love to swim, play with other dogs and kids. But I hold the line on cats…they are not my favorite. I am good at walking on a leash, and I know to go out to do my business. My foster mom says I am very well-behaved, so that is a good thing. If it sounds like I would be a good addition to your family, fill in the adoption application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give,Mila To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
MEET ROMEO, a handsome, loyal, protective Black Mouth Cur. Romeo is a handsome 6-year-old male, and he weighs about 74 lbs. (His shelter paperwork says shepherd-boxer mix). Romeo is a gorgeous, handsome dog who loves to walk, hike and be with his person or people. He would be a wonderful companion for someone who loves to hike! He's a great guard dog and can be protective with people he does not know, so would do best in a non-congested area where neighbors aren't a concern. Romeo also has a prey drive, so needs a strong owner. He has done great with other dogs in a home setting. He's incredibly smart, affectionate, and will attach to his person or people. His bond is very strong. He is not a big fan of kids. Romeo is easy to groom, is playful, and loves a good belly rub! He will benefit from walks, hikes, and exercise, and people who understand his breed. Please email for an application.

Story
Meet Titi – Your New Best Friend! Titi is one of the friendliest young pups you’ll ever meet! This easygoing boy has a laid-back personality and would fit in perfectly with just about any family. Whether you're relaxing at home or heading out for an adventure, Titi is ready to be by your side. He’s a dream in the car—making him the perfect co-pilot for road trips or quick errands. Titi is crate-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and gets along great with other dogs, especially those his size or smaller. If you’re looking for a sweet, adaptable companion who’s always happy to make new friends, Titi is the one for you!We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping.
