Story
Hi there, I am Gigi,If you are looking for a confident, compact, and charming girl to join your family then stop looking you found her!I live with many dogs at my foster’s house, and I get along with all of them. Some of the best things in life for me are taking a long walk with my people, playing with my dog friends, and of course eating. I think the best home for me would be with at least one more dog to play with, a yard with some bushes that I could hide in and run around. I like to be active, so if you were hikers or runners or beachcombers, I think I would be in heaven. I love car rides, especially if I can stick my head out the window. Woo-hoo!I haven’t lived with children, but I have seen them playing in the park and they don’t scare me. I like to chase cats if I get a chance. When we go for a walk, I like to greet other dogs with a friendly sniff. I am a happy girl.If it sounds like I could be the dog you would love, then fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Love you already!GigiThis dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

Hi there, I am Mila!I am so glad you are looking at my profile, I am ready for a new home, and I hope it is with you.I am pretty sure that I have some Labrador in me because I love all things Lab. I love to swim, play with other dogs and kids. But I hold the line on cats…they are not my favorite. I am good at walking on a leash, and I know to go out to do my business. My foster mom says I am very well-behaved, so that is a good thing. If it sounds like I would be a good addition to your family, fill in the adoption application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give,MilaThis dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. Story
MEET ROMEO, a handsome, loyal, protective Black Mouth Cur. Romeo is a handsome 6-year-old male, and he weighs about 74 lbs. (His shelter paperwork says shepherd-boxer mix). Romeo is a gorgeous, handsome dog who loves to walk, hike and be with his person or people. He would be a wonderful companion for someone who loves to hike! He's a great guard dog and can be protective with people he does not know, so would do best in a non-congested area where neighbors aren't a concern. Romeo also has a prey drive, so needs a strong owner. He has done great with other dogs in a home setting. He's incredibly smart, affectionate, and will attach to his person or people. His bond is very strong. He is not a big fan of kids. Romeo is easy to groom, is playful, and loves a good belly rub! He will benefit from walks, hikes, and exercise, and people who understand his breed. Please email for an application.

Story
Van is a handsome boy who is looking for his forever home. He's great with kids, other dogs, and we think he would be good with cats too if he grows up with a cat. Van and his siblings were born into our rescue. Their mom, Hazel, was rescued while heavily pregnant and a volunteer brought her inside just in time to have her babies. They are healthy and happy and momma is doing great too. These puppies are friendly and well-socialized, as they've lived inside with people their whole lives. They are good with other dogs. We don't know about cats yet, but we predict they would do just fine if they grow up with a cat. As of May they are 13 weeks old. We would love to talk to you more about them on the phone. Please send us an application and we'll give you a call! Here's the link: www.friendsfurliferescue.org/adoption-application Please copy/paste the above link into your browser ^ Our transport can take this pup to a town near you. (YES we also adopt to Canada! Please note: adoption fee is in US dollars.) There is NO transport fee, or any extra fees. All is included in the adoption fee. Thank you! We're looking forward to your inquiry!
