Story
Siffy is the ultimate companion! She loves cuddles but also walking, running and everything else outside, especially in a role as your protector and friend. This lady is a powerful sprinter and the more room she has to do it, the happier she is. Fortunately, her loyalty and attachment to you will keep her within range. Unfortunately, Siffy's typical day right now is somewhat lonely and under-stimulated, as she is left in the house half a day 2 or 3 days a week with three disinterested cats as company. She becomes sad when her humans are gone, unhappy, or cross with her, but never acts out by growling, nipping, or chewing anything but her toys. Siffy is truly a dog who deserves as much love and attention as she gives!

Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. RANGER is a mix of possibly the BLACK MOUTH CUR Dog and the Carolina Dog. DOB 1/21/26. He currently weighs about 33#s…and will probably grow to 45-50#s…best guess. The internet says “The Black Mouth Cur Dog’s energy, intelligence, and tenacity make them loyal workers and companions, while their desire to bond with humans makes them great family dogs. They are content living with family members, with plenty of play and adventures. Their joyful personality and playful demeanor bring smiles to their family's faces every day.” He is so happy, energetic and playful. He enjoys playing with all dogs in my rescue…about 10 dogs of all ages and sizes. He knows how to use the doggy door. He doesn’t have any prey drive when we pass the cats on our outdoor walks. He is crate trained and house trained. A DOG OF VARIOUS SKILLS and TRICKS!! One of his newest tricks he has is that he puts 2 tennis balls in his mouth at the same time!! He’s also a “talker.” There are times he wants to get your attention or tell you what he wants and he’ll start his talking by saying “a-rue-a-rue-a-rue” and putting his nose in the air. You absolutely have to laugh. Ranger has a sweet demeanor and is adventurous, playful, extroverted and a snuggly puppy. On his very first day walking on a leash, he was so excited and happy to meet people in my neighborhood. I was surprised how well he walked on a leash (like a pro), smelling and discovering new things. He is definitely food driven and enjoys playing and running and just having fun. BEDTIME… Once he is tired, he goes to his crate and can sleep for hours. He enjoys the fan near his crate and soft music - he is so content that I sometimes have to wake him up to go outside to relieve himself. He is quirky and always happy with those beautiful eyes and his sweet-nature. You will enjoy having Ranger (to protect you), by your side and to grow up with you and your family! This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You will receive the dog's folder with all the printouts proving the medical treatments received. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." Adoption Fee: Includes all of the vetting and transportation. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. Story
KIM: The Professional Cuddle EnthusiastSome dogs enjoy affection.Kim has turned it into a full-time profession. If Kim could design her perfect day, it would include a nice walk, some playtime with other dogs, a few snacks, and an unreasonable amount of cuddling. In fact, if there were an Olympic event for receiving affection, we believe Kim would be a serious contender for a medal. What makes Kim especially remarkable is how quickly she decided to trust the good things in life. After spending much of her life surviving on the streets, one might expect her to be cautious, uncertain, or reluctant to adapt. Kim apparently disagreed with that plan completely.Instead, she embraced home life as though she had been practicing for it all along. She learned to walk on a leash, enjoys spending time indoors, comes when called, and loves being close to her people. Not near them. Not in the same room.Close.Kim firmly believes that humans were invented for petting dogs, and she sees no reason to question this conclusion.Additional photographic evidence supporting Kim's theories about humans and petting can be found here:https://hope4lapawz.org/wp1/kim-2026040dShe also loves other dogs and would be delighted to have canine friends to play with, provided they are as friendly and respectful as she is.At heart, Kim is simply a dog who wants to love and be loved. After everything life has asked of her, she remains gentle, trusting, playful, and endlessly affectionate. These days, Kim isn't looking for much.Just a family who enjoys walks, believes in regular cuddle sessions, and doesn't mind having a loyal little shadow following them around.Honestly, she has been preparing for that role her entire life. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

Story
MEET ROMEO, a handsome, loyal, protective Black Mouth Cur. Romeo is a gorgeous 6-1/2-year-old male, and he weighs about 74 lbs. (His shelter paperwork says shepherd-boxer mix). Romeo loves to walk, hike and be with his person or people. He would be a wonderful companion for someone who loves to hike and go on exciting journeys! Romeo is a great guard dog and can be protective with people he does not know, so would do best in a non-congested area where neighbors aren't a concern or with an experienced adopter. Romeo also has a prey drive, so needs a strong owner. He has done great with other dogs in a home setting. He's incredibly smart, affectionate, and will attach to his person or people. His bond is very strong. He is not a big fan of kids. Romeo is easy to groom, is playful, and loves a good belly rub! He will benefit from exercise, and people who understand his breed. He's currently in California but can be transported to Washington. Please email for an application.

Please note that we are a foster based rescue in TX. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. We transport them to new states once adopted. ALL ADOPTERS MUST BE 21+. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hi friends! My name is **Wrangler**, and I’m a 4-month-old boy with an important announcement: **I LOVE WATER.** Like… if there’s a puddle, kiddie pool, creek, sprinkler, or anything remotely resembling water, I’m probably going to be in it. 😂 I’m a super goofy, comical little guy who thinks life is one big adventure. I’m **happy-go-lucky, curious, playful, and always ready to have a good time!** I’m pretty easygoing for a puppy and have **medium energy**. I love playing with my dog friends and I’m even **good with horses**! 🐴 So clearly, I’m destined for a family who likes a little bit of everything. I’m expected to be around **40-ish pounds when I’m all grown up**, which means I’ll be the perfect size for adventures without taking up the entire couch… although I’m making no promises about that last part. 😏 I’m just looking for my person—or family—who will let me be my goofy, water-loving self and grow up knowing how very loved I am. So… what do you say? **Want to be my forever adventure buddy?** ❤️ 🐾 4 months old 🐾 Handsome little dude 🐾 ~40 lbs full grown 🐾 Medium energy 🐾 Dog friendly 🐾 Horse friendly 🐾 Water enthusiast 🐾 Professional goofball 🤪 🐾 Happy-go-lucky personality **Love, Wrangler 🤠**

Story
Love Bug, Smooch and Sweetheart were picked up stray by a local animal control facility and then it was later found out whom they belonged to but were still surrendered due to being unwanted. These girls are very athletic, energetic and have a high drive. They are extremely smart and will need an active home to keep their minds and bodies engaged and out of trouble! With the right environment all these girls are going to grow up to be very impressive dogs.
