I’m Pluto, a sweet, friendly, and loving Bombay mix gal with copper-penny eyes and a sleek, shiny black-patent leather coat. True to a Bombay’s nature, I’m a certified Velcro kitty who loves to stick right next to my Foster Meowmy or follow her wherever she goes. When she walks into the foster room, I’m the first of my seven foster mates to greet her. To show my delight in seeing her, I immediately drop my whole body on its side or rub my pheromones on her hands and ankles. I can be a cuddle bug as long as she’s massaging my head or scratching my cheeks, chin, and ears nonstop. Although I’m not a huge fan of being held, I prefer for Foster Meowmy to hold me to her chest with my paws over her shoulder. After my feral momma birthed Karma, Jupiter, Opal, and me outside of Foster Meowmy’s house, Momma moved us through an open window to inside a neighbor’s car . . . and then again a few doors down to a used-car business. Imagine Foster Meowmy’s surprise when she looked inside an old car and found not only us under the driver’s seat but also another litter of four kittens under the passenger’s seat!! When we were five weeks old and could eat on our own, Foster Meowmy gathered up both of our stowaway litters and brought us all inside to the safe haven of her home. You can imagine the mayhem that eight kittens can wreak inside our foster room! Although I will tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my siblings, I really prefer to spend my time lounging. We’ve all got a little mischief in our genes because we love to escape the foster room to sniff around and explore other parts of the house, but I’m usually the mastermind with the most ingenious plan to lead my siblings in our jailbreak. EASY-GOING LOVEBUG  DOB 9/1/21 Howdy everyone! I’m Indy, a handsome, easy-going black DSH/ Bombay mix dude with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. It took me a while to learn that being petted, chin scratches, and lap time with my foster dad might just be a good thing. My momma Luna led the way, so I started curling up on my foster dad’s warm chest for a quick power nap and discovered that it was pretty delightful. My favorite pastimes include following my foster dad into the bathroom (Bombay mixes can be very dog-like), looking handsome, and watching the world go by as I bask in a patch of sunshine on a windowsill. WHAT AN ADORABLE MINI-PANTHER!  DOB 4/2/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Frankie, and I’m a sweet, friendly, easygoing, and gentle Bombay mix fella who knows my name and comes when Foster Meowmy calls me! I like it when Foster Meowmy holds me when she’s sitting down, but, like a lot of kitties, I’m not crazy about being picked up and carried around. Of course I luxuriate when she scratches my ears, cheeks, and chin. Like most Bombay mixes, I look like a little panther with my sleek, shiny black patent-leather coat and my copper-penny eyes. Foster Meowmy trapped my foster buddy Sweet Peach and me because she thought we were feral kittens, but we ended up being friendly enough for her to keep us inside to try to socialize us instead of releasing us back outdoors. Her efforts panned out, and we tamed up nicely after about a month. Although Sweet Peach and I are not littermates, we are very bonded to each other. We both love to play interactively with Foster Meowmy when she waves the wand toy over our heads or wiggles it around the room like a snake for us to chase. I’m a dominant male, and whereas Sweet Peach thinks I’m wonderful, there’s a good deal of tension when I’m around Foster Meowmy’s resident cats. Meet Beans! He is a very sweet 4 year old boy who has grown up with 2 golden retrievers. He enjoys napping all day and tends to get his zoomies at night time. He is great with dogs, but has never been around other cats before. He is an exclusively indoor cat and does not spend time outside. He is unfortunately not adjusting well since we brought home our baby. He has been hiding and having a hard time eating due to the stress of having the baby at home. We have tried to get him oriented to having a baby around, but he has started urinating on things that have the baby’s a scent. Prior to this he was a wonderful cat. He really is a great cat and we hope we can find him a great home that is kid-free so he can live a happier life! Upon adoption, we would be more than happy to send him home with his cat tree, automatic feeder, toys, and litter box cabinet.
