Story
Alvin, TX: Van Gogh was trapped and taken to a vet who cut half his ear off, instead of a tip, which is common practice for TNR (Trap, Neuter and Release). After recovery he was released. Weeks later he not only came to eat, but he came for attention. He is one of the friendliest, most loving - kitties ever. We want to give a black cat with 1/2 ear chopped off a chance. A chance at a good life! He will soon be available for ADOPTION! He is a talker! He rolls on his back for tummy rubs! He loves his ears to be rubbed and to be brushed. He also makes biscuits while in your lap! He's about a year old. Neutered, chipped and current on vaccines. Inside only. Van Gogh deserves a home of his own! Fill out application linked below to meet this sweet baby boy! https://www.forgottenpetadvocates.com/cat-adoption.../September 3, 2025, 8:03 pm

Looking for a confident, charming companion to brighten your days? Meet Star, a handsome 4-year-old cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart.Adoption Application:https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/CatStar came to Roses Rescue after his owner fell on hard times and made the difficult, selfless decision to prioritize Star's well-being. While that change was hard, Star has adjusted beautifully and is ready to find a new family to call his own. This friendly guy loves to explore his surroundings and is always curious about what's happening around him. Whether he's chasing a laser pointer, batting at an automatic toy, or perched high above the room keeping an eye on things, Star likes to stay involved. In fact, he considers himself the household manager and takes his supervisory duties very seriously!Star loves enjoying his outdoor time. He walks wonderfully on a leash (check out his video!) and enjoys safely exploring the world alongside his people.Star has previously lived with both dogs and cats and is comfortable sharing his home with other respectful pets. He enjoys companionship but also appreciates having a high perch to oversee the daily operations of the household. If you're looking for a confident, affectionate cat who will keep you company on adventures and then supervise your activities from the highest spot in the house, Star is the perfect addition for your family.Apply to meet Star today and let this shining star light up your home! Story
LOVES TO BE HELD AND SLEEP WITH HIS HOOMANS  DOB 3/15/26 Hey there, everyone! I’m Mochi, a very outgoing, cute, and cuddly Bombay mix fella who loves to be held and to sleep in bed with Foster Meowmy. Bombay mixes are often called Velcro cats because we like to stick so close to our people. When I’m not soaking up attention from my hoomans or playing with my siblings, I like to crawl in a nice cardboard box or climb up on the top of the cat tree to watch the world go by. As the solo big brother of my litter, I’m curious and fearless, so I love to explore around the house. Foster Meowmy first encountered me huddled in a box in the PetSmart Pearland parking lot when she met a lady who was trying to give away my sisters, Miso and Mango, and me for free. Knowing how vulnerable to danger we were if we ended up in the wrong hands – especially me as a black cat -- Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate and brought us to the safe haven of her home. We have so much fun living the carefree kitten life by tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other. Plus I’m ecstatic at the plethora of toys at my disposal. I take my playing seriously and get so excited with my toys that I often growl at them. I get along great with the other foster kittens and resident cats, and I’m still acclimating to the friendly dogs by mostly ignoring them. Now I’m ready to bring my swarthy good looks, i.e. sleek, shiny coat and copper-penny eyes, and my winsome personality to enliven my forever home. Could that be you? Although we’re available separately, consider adopting me with Miso or Mango. It’d be the cat’s meow if we could be energetic playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today so you can experience my sweet, friendly temperament for yourself. HOPE ID 26-0502-C024 Mochi’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. To apply online: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site that Mochi will be this weekend, email us at nancy.e.kline@hotmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you. Story
READY TO PERK UP YOUR DAY WITH HER LIVELINESS  DOB 4/17/26 Hey there, everyone! I am Java, a gentle, outgoing, and affectionate Bombay mix gal who got my name because my dark coloring resembles coffee and because of my lively personality. I thrive on being held, cuddled, and stroked by all ages of my hooman family. I curl up on Foster Daddy‘s chest while we watch YouTube videos on his phone. When Foster Meowmy opens the door, I scamper up to greet her in hopes that it is time to play or be petted. When she is in bed, I cuddle on top of her wherever I can find a cozy spot. Plus I am mellow enough to play gently with the 5- and 7-year-old kids in the family. My busy foster home includes an adult male cat and a small senior dog, and I get along great with them too. I am so confident, easygoing, and adaptable that I have already had a blast on a family road trip to San Antonio, where I quickly settled into my new accommodations. My feral momma birthed my twin brother Joe and me on an apartment balcony, but -- thank heavens -- Foster Meowmy trapped our momma and brought our little family to the safe haven of her home when I was about two weeks old. About a week later, an orphaned ticked-tabby fella who was a week younger than Joe and me was introduced to our momma, and she lovingly accepted him as one of her own. Suddenly I had a new brother named Mocha! The three of us have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we are exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. Now I am ready to become your affectionate best friend who will provide endless cuddles and playtime antics to brighten my forever home. Although we are available separately, it would be the cat’s meow if Joe or Mocha could be adopted with me. We could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you are at work or on vacation. Remember that there is nothing like a little “java” to perk up your day!  Arrange to meet me today! HOPE ID 26-0529-M052 Java’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. Story
Introducing Oliver, the regal feline with a heart of gold and the mane to match! Inspired by his namesake from Oliver Twist, this striking orange-and-white lion-like kitty is on a quest for a forever home where he can reign supreme. At just the right weight, Oliver is a healthy and strong adventurer. He's a proud explorer, always ready to conquer new territories, whether it's a sunny spot on the windowsill or the mystery of the backyard. Though he may be a bit shy at first, Oliver’s kindness shines through once he feels comfortable. If you’re looking for a thoughtful companion who balances bravery with a gentle spirit, Oliver is your guy! Adopt him today and prepare for a life of majesty with the king! Update: There were complications after his neuter surgery at the vet, and he is now recovering from a burn. Though he will have a scar on his bum, it's not going to bring his spirits down. p.s. He is a chest layer and likes to get close.
