Story
Moon is a soft, slightly chubby girl—which only adds to her charm. She’s unfailingly polite and has no patience for drama; all she really wants is a peaceful spot to share with you and maybe another friendly cat (dogs aren’t her thing). Moon is laid-back by nature, perfectly happy to let the kittens handle the chaos. She prefers warming your pillows, watching you with her wide, curious eyes, and curling up close whenever you need a little comfort. If you’re having a tough day, she’ll be there—snuggled up on your chest, making sure you never feel alone.Every now and then, Moon gets a burst of playful energy. When you’re not paying attention, you might catch her darting through a cat tunnel or batting at a stray toy. But most of the time, she’s content to simply be your calm, steady companion, quietly taking it all in. With her sleek, coal-black fur, petting her feels like holding a plush toy. Moon really is the sweetest, most huggable cat you’ll ever meet—with a heart as big as her purr. All cats/kittens are spay/neutered, fully vaccinated, treated for any parasites, tested for Feline Leukemia and FiV and receive a microchip with a lifetime of free registration. www.missionforpaws.org/application

Story
Floyd is a big, beautiful house panther and one of the friendliest cats you will ever meet! He was trapped living outside and he had a hard time adjusting to shelter life initially. Once he settled down, the shelter staff was amazed at his super outgoing nature! He became one of the friendliest cats in the shelter! He was not happy being in a small cage and quickly made fast friends by jumping out of his cage to give kisses to anyone who would give him the time. He is an ultra outgoing and loving guy. His tail is always up - strangers? That is not a term he recognizes. He loves everyone! He is also great with other kitties :) This guy needs to be a part of a family - desperately! Layla is a striking beauty with gorgeous copper-colored eyes and a shiny black coat. This sweet young adult gal is a super friendly and wonderful companion that will happily greet you as soon as you walk into the room. She loves to talk to you, follow you and when youre standing she will put both paws up on your leg politely asking for attention and waiting for you to pet her then it only takes one stroke on her pretty head to activate her sweet purr motor :) Layla craves love and definitely returns it - you can't go wrong if youre looking for a calm and loving lap cat! She is a real gem and would make a wonderful addition to any family who opens their hearts and home to her - perhaps that could be yours? August 2, 2026, 4:47 pm

Story
LOVES CHASING WAND TOYS AND SLURPING CHURUS!  DOB 4/29/26 Hey there, everyone! Named for being itsy-bitsy with a sleek, shiny black coat, I’m Ant, an affectionate, cuddly, and playful Bombay mix fella who enjoys curling up beside Foster Meowmy for naps and rewards her gentle pets with loud, happy purrs. As the runt of my litter, I’m still building my confidence, but I’ve come a long way since I first arrived in my foster home. Foster Mom knew that it would take time and patience for me to learn to trust her. With her gentle voice and affectionate touch, she showed me that I was securely loved, and --voilà! -- now my sweet personality is shining through! You see, I had a rough start in life. My feral momma birthed my siblings, Ladybug and Caterpillar, and me in the patio closet of a vacant apartment where Foster Meowmy feeds a colony of community cats. When we were just five weeks old, she trapped Momma and brought our little family to the safe haven of her home. Once we were weaned and eating on our own, Momma was spayed and returned to her outdoor home. This ensures that she will never raise another litter in the summer heat. At first I felt very tiny and vulnerable in my new indoor domain, but Foster Meowmy endeared herself by teasing me with string toys and rewarding me with Churus treats! I’ve been raised with young children (ages 5 and 7), other cats, and a small senior dog, and I’ve done well with everyone. The dog never bothered me at all! Of course, I have a blast with Ladybug and Caterpillar, a.k.a. the #kloset-kittens, as we tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and then collapse in a kitten puddle when we’re exhausted. Now I’m ready to share my gentle, loving disposition, playful spirit, and “purr-full” cuddling expertise with my forever family – including well-behaved dogs, cats, and kids. Just keep in mind that in my new domain I may need your gentle patience by allowing me to settle in at my own pace. With time, I’m sure to blossom into my best self – Bombay cats are renown for being Velcro cats who stick close to their hoomans. Although we’re available separately, it’d be the cat’s meow if you’d adopt me with another #kloset-kitten so we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart! HOPE ID 26-0701-G121                                                                                 Ant’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. To apply online: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site that Ant will be this weekend, email us at sfenicle1@gmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you. Story
READY TO PERK UP YOUR DAY WITH HER LIVELINESS  DOB 4/17/26 Hey there, everyone! I am Java, a gentle, outgoing, and affectionate Bombay mix gal who got my name because my dark coloring resembles coffee and because of my lively personality. I thrive on being held, cuddled, and stroked by all ages of my hooman family. I curl up on Foster Daddy‘s chest while we watch YouTube videos on his phone. When Foster Meowmy opens the door, I scamper up to greet her in hopes that it is time to play or be petted. When she is in bed, I cuddle on top of her wherever I can find a cozy spot. Plus I am mellow enough to play gently with the 5- and 7-year-old kids in the family. My busy foster home includes an adult male cat and a small senior dog, and I get along great with them too. I am so confident, easygoing, and adaptable that I have already had a blast on a family road trip to San Antonio, where I quickly settled into my new accommodations. My feral momma birthed my twin brother Joe and me on an apartment balcony, but -- thank heavens -- Foster Meowmy trapped our momma and brought our little family to the safe haven of her home when I was about two weeks old. About a week later, an orphaned ticked-tabby fella who was a week younger than Joe and me was introduced to our momma, and she lovingly accepted him as one of her own. Suddenly I had a new brother named Mocha! The three of us have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we are exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. Now I am ready to become your affectionate best friend who will provide endless cuddles and playtime antics to brighten my forever home. Although we are available separately, it would be the cat’s meow if Joe could be adopted with me. We could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you are at work or on vacation. Remember that there is nothing like a little “java” to perk up your day!  Arrange to meet me today! HOPE ID 26-0529-M052 Java’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. Story
Got him from a friend of a friend, he’s 3 years old and fixed. I would describe him as a pretty chill cat. Sleeps or just lays with you most of the time, sometimes gets the zoomies. Looking for someone willing to provide patience, love, and care.He has been the only pet in the household for most of his life (briefly lived with a dog and they got along well). Unsure how he would respond to other pets currently.
