Story
axon came to us for training due to his stranger danger and little training or socializing. We have worked hard on his new greeting behaviors, outlet for his energy and training. He is a lower drive active dog with potential, he will reward his new owners with a very dedicated life of love and a dog that loves to be active! He would be best in a home with just him maybe another female dog around his age and a quiet home. (no parties, NO kids or grandkids, etc) I would love to see him in a home that likes to hike, play fetch and cuddle on the couch or maybe agility! He does well with management/training and exposure to new things, he will need continuing education on training for impulse control and allowing a lot of time to meet new people. Once he has an understanding of what is expected of him when meeting new people he is great with them! Easy in the crate, and house setting and out in the back yard. He loves to curl up after a good play session and cuddle on the couch with his loved ones.

Ellie came to us for training due to her stranger danger/feral behavior. We have worked hard on her new greeting behaviors, outlet for her energy and training. She is an active dog with great potential and she will reward her owners with a very dedicated life of love and a dog that loves to be active! She would be best in a home with just her maybe another male dog around her age and a quiet home. (not a lot of parties, NO kids or grandkids, etc) I would love to see her in a home that likes to hike, play fetch, maybe do some competitive obedience. She likes people especially women once she gets to trust people. She does well with management/training and exposure to new things, she will need continuing education on training for impulse control and allowing the time she needs to meet new people. Once she has an understanding of what is expected of her when meeting new people she is great with them! Easy in the crate, and house setting and out in the back yard. Story
Meet Tiny Tim. Though his name may be tiny his personality isn't. Tim is a 16 week old border collie Aussie mix. He is shy at first but when he warms up he is full of spunk! He comes to us from the Navajo Reservation and because of that he was not properly socialized to humans which means he just needs more time than others. He has been doing great in foster care and getting more use to the idea of humans and  the inside house life! He is full of energy and does great with other dogs and kids. Tiny Tims adoption fee is $300 and covers his neuters, vaccines, microchip, rabies, and 30 day pet insurance! If you are interested in Tiny Tim please fill out the adoption application on our website, www.azhiddenjemrescue.com or give us a text at 480-565-0479 if you have any questions. February 27, 2024, 11:36 pm

Story
Philo is so fun! He loves to play. snuggle and give lots and lots of kisses! He has all the fun energy of a puppy but the manners of an adult dog. He is 100 housebroke and kennel trained. He will chew up beds if left kenneled too long but if he has a tough toy or KONG to occupy him. he will keep himselt entertained. Philo had a rough start with canine socialization so new dogs can be intimidating for him. He will have no issues adjusting to a new household with patience and time. Female dogs and less dominant dogs seem to be no issue for him at all! He also loves the resident cat and will initiate play time but is not persistent and does not chase. Philo has really learned a lot and seen a lot while being in our home. He listens incredibly well and has great manners. He does jump when excited and when he is really excited. he will accidentally headbutt vou and will play bite. With soft corrections he does areat! Philo does not tolerate loud noises very well. A home with small or rambunctious children might be overwhelming for him for a lot of reasons. We have yet to experience thunder but construction noises, horns, children yelling and playing and so many other things PhIlo does amazing in the car! He rides so qulety and comfortably you will forget nes back there! He does get excited when at the new destination but listens to a firm stav and waits to get out until told. Philo did so aood at the vet and received an A++ from all the staff. Philo is decent on a leash but will pull. harnesses work we and a pocket full of treats really keep is attention. He is very food motivated and will enjoy being rewarded with snacKs! Philo LOVES to play. Frisbee. soccer balls. tennis balls. stuffed tovs. vou name it. he'll play with it! Philo would most likely thrive in a sport home. Agility would be a breeze as well as possibly fly ball or sheep herding he did meet my livestock and showed zero chase instincts though). Philo will love every human in his life. He hasn't met a stranger yet and is truly over-ioyed with human affection. Philo has so much protentional to be the most amazing adventure companion! He is strikingly handsome, gets attention wherever he go's and will bring his human endless joy.
