Meet Leo, a wonderful, loving tripod! Leo had a rough start. Found abandoned on the side of the road, his front leg shot & shattered, then amputated. But none of that slows down this loving affectionate boy. He is a big lapdog with the sweetest disposition. He is such a happy boy. He loves everyone & gets along with adults, kids, dogs, cats, you name it. He is so friendly & just wants to be loved. Leo would do best in a home with another playful dog. Probably a medium to large size dog. So, if you love cattle mix dogs, & want an eager to please companion for yourself & your dog, Leo would love to be that guy. Leo has been micro-chipped, Neuter and is up to date on shots. His adoption fee of 350.00 will help with medical needs of the Rescue group. Story
Are you looking for a high-energy, affectionate companion who thrives with structure and enjoys being close to home? Meet Dolly, a lively and loving pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart! Personality & Traits - Dolly is a joyful, energetic girl who loves to stay active and engaged throughout the day. She’s a cheerful chatterbox, expressing herself with grumbles, snorts, yips, and barks. While she has plenty of energy to burn, Dolly is most comfortable in her home environment, where she can play, explore the yard, and then settle in with her people. Training & Behavior - Kennel Trained: Dolly feels safe and relaxed in her kennel, making it her ideal place to unwind. - Basic Commands: She’s eager to learn and enjoys training, though distractions, especially other dogs, can pull her focus. Consistency and positive reinforcement work well for her. - Leash Training: Dolly is still polishing her leash skills and continues to make progress with regular practice. - Watchful Nature: She likes to patrol her space and will alert you to activity around the property, particularly along the fence line. We’re actively working on recall in these moments. Important Home Requirements - No Small Animals or Cats: Due to her strong prey drive, Dolly cannot live with small animals or cats. This is non-negotiable. Quirks & Fun Facts - Paper Products Beware: Dolly finds shredding paper irresistible, so important items should stay out of reach. - Quick Paws: She has a playful habit of grabbing small objects when the opportunity arises. Burying Treats: Dolly enjoys burying her food and treats, showing off her instinctive side. Dog Friendly - Dolly enjoys the company of other dogs but can get overly excited during play and may need reminders to keep things polite. Health & Wellness - Dolly is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She’s healthy and ready to find her forever home. Crowds & Outings - Dolly can become overstimulated in busy or chaotic environments. She does best with planned activity, enrichment, and play at home, rather than frequent trips to crowded public spaces. Ideal Home - Dolly would thrive in an active home with a secure yard where she can run, play, and burn energy daily. She needs both physical exercise and mental stimulation, followed by downtime with her humans. While she’s high energy, she doesn’t need to be taken everywhere to be happy. A family that enjoys structured play, training, and cozy evenings at home would be an excellent fit. With proper introductions and patience, she may do well with older, respectful children. Will you be the one to give Dolly the active, loving home she deserves? She’s ready to bring enthusiasm, loyalty, and plenty of affection into your life.   Estimated date of birth is 9/28/2023 and her adoption fee is $150.March 7, 2026, 12:48 pm
