Story
Looks like: Border Collie mix Male, 12 years old (estimated), 36 pounds Huey is a sweet old soul who has mastered the art of being a very goodest of boys. This handsome Border Collie has a gentle, soulful nature and is happiest when he's simply close to his people. He doesn't need a busy schedule or a whole lot of fuss. He's just looking for a warm, loving home where he can settle in and enjoy his golden years by your side. Huey does wonderfully with other dogs and is an easygoing companion. He's the kind of dog who will quietly follow you around, lean into a good scratch, and make himself right at home. Huey joins us from the Animal Resource Center of the Inland Empire after he was found as a stray. Due to their full shelter and his senior status, they felt he would do best with the POMDR pack to find his loving forever home.

Story
Completely FREE rehoming. 2 Male Border Collie and Bernesse Doodle Mix. Must be adopted SEPARATELY! Fights with each other. Very sweet but very energetic. Born September 24, 2024 Morgan Hill Area but willing to meet for drop offs. My daughter left her with us when she left the country. However due to unforseen circumstances she is living there permanently now. We have two dogs of our own already and aren’t able to provide the proper space and care for all four dogs. Have already kept them with us for a year but cannot keep this up for any longer. I hope he can find someone loving and have time. He’s very sweet dog, i just can’t keep the four of them. I have my own 2 dogs.

Story
Meet Nell! Fostered near the coastal Santa Cruz Mountains in California Nell is a 6-month-old female Border Collie being fostered in Central California. They truly don’t come much sweeter than this beautiful girl. Nell came to us from a rural shelter extremely timid and fearful. In just one month, she has made incredible progress. She adores her foster brothers and sisters, is becoming more comfortable meeting new people, and now happily follows her foster dad everywhere. Like most Border Collies, Nell is brilliant, active, and a very fast learner. She would make an excellent hiking companion, but walks alone will not be enough for her. Nell needs a job, purpose, structured training, or another productive outlet for her intelligence and energy. Nell has had some exposure to sheep and appears interested, although she is still young and it is too early to know whether she will become a working stock dog. With the right training, she may have potential, but no guarantees can be made. Nell’s ideal home will include: An experienced handler familiar with high-drive herding breeds Patience as she adjusts to new people and situations A commitment to continued training and confidence-building A securely fenced yard No apartments or high-density housing Another playful, confident dog would be a wonderful bonus. Nell is very dog-social, bonds well with other dogs, and plays and shares toys beautifully. Nell is not a “turnkey” dog. Although she is thriving in foster care, she may temporarily regress when moving into a new home. Her adopter must be willing to take things slowly and allow her time to feel safe. She is house trained, travels well, walks fairly nicely on leash, and has started learning sit, stay, and down. She is also partially crate trained. Nell is up to date on vaccines and will be adopted with a spay contract. This special girl has so much potential and deserves an experienced, active family who will help her become the incredible dog she is meant to be. If you think Nell  is the gal for you ,  please submit our adoption application at the link below! https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There are some additional fees: $20 microchip transfer fee to register and transfer her to her new furever family.  A $50 REFUNDABLE neuter deposit which will be refunded upon proof of Spay,. ##2748974##
