Story
Milo Miles is his name and he is a ridiculously cute, border collie looking boy with a bright brain, solid manners, and a curled tail that looks like it is signing autographs as he walks by. Milo is estimated to be just shy of 7 months old, he weighs 38 lbs andalthough he has some border collie looks, he doesn't have the classic high-energy work force typically synonymous with the breed. It’s a best guess. Border collie mix (with the usual rescue disclaimer: DNA results not included, charm absolutely is). Want to see Milo Miles and his good-boy basics in action? Head to YouTube- https://youtu.be/HuQwKpAUCFQ Milo is thriving in a loving foster home, and it shows- he’s both house and crate-trained, lives peacefully with two dogs, a cat, and a teenager, and already understands the rhythm of home life. On leash, he’s got great basic skills and the kind of smarts that makes training feel like teamwork instead of a chore. His vibe is medium energy: ready to learn, ready to explore, and very ready to come back inside and be a calm, easy roommate. Milo is welcoming when meeting new people but doesn’t rush into commitments or labels. He likes to get to know you, observe, sniff, and then decides if you’re officially in the friends or besties category. Give him that beat, and he opens up beautifully, especially once he’s had a proper introduction and can relax into the moment. Same Milo. Same. He’s the kind of pup who appreciates respectful handling and prefers his affection without any forced hugs or grabby cuddles, basically let Milo choose the love lane and he will set the cruise control. With other dogs, Milo meets with eager confidence then moves into doing his own things. In playgroups he tends to wander and sniff while the dogs play but his foster he has and shows his full “dog friend” personality. He’s food-motivated (hello, training cheat code), showed no concerns around food with people or dogs, and once he’s inside he’s relaxed and his foster confirmed- easy to live with. Cat notes: Milo lives with a cat and was raised with one, so he may do well with a dog-savvy cat who won’t be offended by a curious youngster who occasionally will playfully chase. If living with a cat in the home he would benefit from having a playful dog buddy so all of his playfulness isnt directed at the cat. Milo will benefit all around by having a dog buddy in the home, and while he’s medium energy and generally quiet, he is best suited in a home with space or an active lifestyle. Apartment life could work for an active family, but given his age and eagerness to learn more about the big-wide-world he is not a “simple short stroll and done” kind of boy. If you’re looking for a smart, trainable, growing boy who’s already polished in the basics, Milo Miles is ready and waiting to take on the role as your adoring sidekick. Story
This cutie is Brandy. She is currently 2 months old and weighs approximately 9lbs. We think they may be a border collie/ Australian shepherd mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from us, it saves their life as well as the life of another in its place. Watch Brandy’s playful personality here: https://youtu.be/eONmEGF4N5w?si=SnjARUCoETxUljRa Brandy is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. She loves to play with her siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! We pride ourselves in being able to give you good personality and behavioral information to help ensure this baby is the right fit for you. You are also welcome to do a Facetime call to meet your new baby before signing paperwork! Brandy is still very young and will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. A puppy is discovering new things that shape their personalities with each passing day. Implementing routine, structure, setting boundaries, and proper socialization is key from the start. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy starting immediately when arriving at their new home, which will help with potty training, energy management, and the overall development of a well-rounded adult dog. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Max is a 3-year-old border collie mix weighing in at a perfect medium size of 34 pounds. He has a soft heart and gentle spirit so he can be a little shy when meeting new people. But with a kind and caring approach, Max will warm up quickly. Max arrived in rescue after being surrendered when his owner passed away. Before coming to the rescue, he was living mostly outdoors in a small kennel. A lot of tender loving care has done wonders for Max, and he has shown remarkable progress.Once he feels comfortable Max will truly shine and is happy to show off his talents. His favorite hobbies are running around the play yard and chasing his favorite ball to burn off that border collie energy. As he is still building confidence, Max will benefit from continued socialization, but he is becoming more trusting and playful every day. He would do best in a calm, patient, and loving home so he can continue to make progress.Max does with dogs and children. He has not yet been introduced to cats so his relationship with them is unknown at this time. With a lot to learn and a new environment to get used to, all house, crate, and leash training is in progress for Max, but he is eager to please and with a little structure and consistency, he will thrive in a loving home. Now that he knows he is safe and cared for, Max is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving companion. If you are looking for a sweet and playful dog who just needs to know what unconditional love looks like, then Max may be the dog for you.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Max is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.March 1, 2026, 6:02 am

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 💕🐾 Meet Your New Favorite Little Lady — Sweet, Social & Slightly Silly 🐾💕 4 Months Old • 15 lbs • Female • Professional Treat Taker At just 4 months old and 15 pounds, this darling girl is the perfect pocket-sized blend of sweetness and puppy charm. While she may have some Border Collie in her background, she skipped the “caffeinated squirrel” setting and went straight for the gentle, laid-back option. Think more “thoughtful observer” than “chaos coordinator.” 😉 She is super loving, wonderfully gentle, and already knows how to take treats politely — which in puppy terms is basically earning an honorary PhD. She’s smart, attentive, and very people-focused without being over-the-top hyper. When fully grown she should be a fantastic medium size to enjoy all your adventures but still save a spot for you on the couch!! Lately, she and her sibling, Sierra, have been getting lots of social time in the garage and big backyard, and it’s doing wonders for her confidence. She’s blossoming into a happy, social little butterfly who enjoys interaction and is figuring out that the world is actually a pretty fun place. Now let’s be clear — she is still a puppy. Which means: • Random zoomies activated without warning • Toy redistribution programs throughout your house • Occasional “what is this and can I chew it?” investigations • Daily moments that will absolutely make you laugh out loud Puppy shenanigans? Yes. Daily entertainment? Also yes. She would make a fantastic family pet thanks to her sweet, gentle nature. She’s loving without being wild, playful without being pushy, and cuddly without needing to run a marathon first. Her dream home includes: • A family ready for normal puppy antics • Love, structure, and patience • Maybe a backyard for zoomie practice • People who appreciate a good daily LOL moment She’s the kind of pup who will grow into a loyal, steady companion — but right now she’s mastering the fine art of being adorable while learning the ropes. If you’re ready for a gentle, loving, slightly goofy little sidekick who will fill your home with giggles and tail wags, she’s ready to report for duty. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org — because life is better with a little puppy chaos and a whole lot of love. 🐾💗

Meet Otto, an adult neutered male mini Aussie mix!  Otto is about 40-45 lbs and will be arriving on transport on 3/7 and will be available for meet and greets! Otto is a very sweet cutie that is house/crate trained and good on a leash. He is good with other dogs, cats and loves to be with his people! We are accepting applications for him now!  He is medically up to date. Apply to meet this special pup today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2671480##

Story
Meet Royalty, a sweet ~2 year old spayed female kelpie/terrier mix! She's a great size at about 32 lbs. This special pup has been in her foster home since March 2025 waiting to find her furever home   Royalty is a shy, timid girl at first, who takes some time to warm up to new people (especially men). However, she comes around with a little love and patience. We think she is worth the wait! Royalty can do a 1 week foster to adopt trial with an approved adopter so you can see how she settles in before committing to adoption. She does best being introduced to new people slowly, sometimes outside throwing her treats. Fast movements and loud noises make her nervous and she may bark and/or growl. Because of this, we recommend a home with no young children.  She does ok with older/dog savvy kids and has warmed up to her foster mom's grandson and will happily go for walks and cuddle with him! If you are patient with her and let her come to you on her own terms, she will eventually reward you with lots of cuddles and kisses once she has deemed you safe!  Royalty is an energetic young girl who enjoys going on walks and would love a fenced in yard of her own to run around and get out her zoomies! She also loves bones, lick mats, and puzzle toys. She is a very smart girl and knows many commands, including "sit", "down", "wait", "let's go", "paw", "other paw", and "leave it". She is very food motivated and eager to learn - she would be a great candidate for training games and maybe even agility. She does great with other dogs after a proper intro and is BFFs with her foster fur sibling! She would love a confident, well adjusted doggo friend to show her the ropes and help her learn to build her confidence. She is a herder and will chase cats and small animals, so no feline friends for this girl. Royalty is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this special girl today! Story
Meet Dobby, a friendly ~2 year old spayed female Australian Cattle Dog mix! This girl is the perfect size and full grown at about 40 lbs. She has the BEST giant ears, which is how she earned her name!  Dobby is a very sweet, outgoing girl who LOVES other dogs, people, and kids! Due to her exuberant nature, we recommend older kids 8+ as she may unintentionally knock over a small child. She attended doggy daycare while being fostered in TN, and she got along well with all of the dogs there. Since she has been in New England, she was fostered with two 120 lb Great Pyrs who she also got along very well with! Currently, she is being fostered in CT at another doggy daycare and is having a blast! She loves to play with her doggo friends and would be thrilled to have another young, playful pup to share her home with. Dobby can do a 1 week foster to adopt trial with an approved adopter so you can see how she settles in before committing to adoption. Dobby does ok with dog savvy cats (will initially bark at them and will chase if they run, but she responds well to being told NO and she learned to respect the cat in her prior foster home).  She is an energetic girl who loves to play with other dogs, she also loves toys and a good game of tug! She would LOVE a fenced in yard of her own to get out her zoomies. Dobby would make an excellent hiking and/or running buddy, she would love to join you on all of your adventures and then nap on the couch with you afterwards (she loves to snuggle!). She also walks very well on leash and is not a big puller (unless she sees a squirrel or other critter). She is a super smart and trainable pup!  From Dobby's current foster:  "Dobby is definitely a high energy girl which has proved a perfect match for my high energy pups who don’t get enough play. Dobby gets along with everyone, sleeps like a rock through the night and loves a bone to keep her busy when it’s quiet time. Dobby is learning that excitement is always a good thing but jumping on someone is not always cool when you’re not prepared. Dobby is super smart and would love a job so if you have a dog who would love a play companion or if agility is your thing, Dobby is for you!" Dobby is medically up to date, crate trained, and housebroken. Apply to meet this special girl today! She is SO deserving of a furever home of her own! ##2455233##
