She needs someone to teach her commands and becomes her boss and not the other way around. She is a happy puppy and just needs more steady hand to make her the best dog ever. Luna is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. Story
Meet Hines! This sweet, playful boy is around 5 months old and weighs around 53 lbs. We believe he will be very large when full grown. He is a mix of Border Collie, Lab and Great Dane mix. Hines is crate trained, and doing well with the house training. He lives with other foster dogs and cats and does great with them. Hines has been around children from the age of 4 to 13 and does great, although he is large and the younger children may get knocked down until he has fully learned his manners. He is working on commands, Hines is smart, food motivated and ready to have a family to have as his own. This boy would be a good hiking buddy, as he loves to explore. The money collected covers any medical treatments the dog may have had while in our care. All of our dogs are altered (spayed/neutered), have had all shots (age appropriate in the case of puppies) including Bordetella (kennel cough), rabies, and the distemper/parvo series. Dogs have been heart worm screened and are heart worm negative, have had a clear fecal exam and are up to date on Frontline and Heartgard. Adopters will receive copies of all vet records, rabies certification, and tags. The adoption fee also covers all transport and health certificate costs we incur. Dogs from out of state travel on USDA inspected humane, healthy, & sanitary animal transport professionals. Disclaimer: Please note that the breeds posted on our dogs' biographies are our best guess based on years of working with rescue dogs. Adopters who need to know the exact breed or mix of breeds of a particular dog must have the dog's DNA tested at their own expense.

Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. (Shayne's Rescue is an affiliate with PetCentralSATX). If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. Jack is a male Shepherd mix, about 5 yrs old. He weighs 45#. He is a good dog... no aggression but also no training. He has been getting some leash training of which he's doing very well. This guy needs to have a companion to take him everywhere, go on hikes, and maybe even swimming. He loves people and is great with other dogs. He does need daily exercise but I’m sure he will calm down after he knows he’s in a forever home and gets his love and exercise every day. He deserves a second chance…he needs someone who believes in him! Check our You Tube Video: https://youtu.be/zawD9-77Oxs This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at petcentralsatx@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to the NE. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
Charity is a very intelligent Border Collie/Jack Russel mix. She is about 4yrs old and weighs about 20lbs. Charity enjoys being outside playing ball, she enjoys walks and also enjoys down time after some exercise. She can be leery of new people but warms up once comfortable. Charity has lots of Border Collie quirks, she will herd you if not paying attention to her.....she LOVES to play. The most suitable home for Charity is one without children, cats and she would like to be the only dog in the home. A home with Border Collie or Jack Russel experience preferred.
