APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. (Shayne's Rescue is an affiliate with PetCentralSATX). If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. JASMINE (female) came from a litter of 7 -- 5 girls; 2 boys. Mama is a white shepherd-type dog about 40#. Daddy was probably the local Casanova, maybe a Border Collie mix. These pups were born on the first night we had freezing weather and 2 courageous ladies went out in the cold and caught the stray mama and her 7 puppies and brought them to our rescue. DOB 1/17/26. JASMINE is playful and very happy. She has a beautiful golden color with some white and a tail that curls over her back. She currently is 25# and will probably be about 40-45# when grown. She is spayed, all 4 DAPP vaccinations including Leptospirosis, Rabies, and Bordetella. She will be a great family dog. She loves other dogs of all ages and size. She also leaves my cats alone. Like most puppies, she does bark … not good for an apartment. She is used to be in a kennel as well as being in the puppy pen outside. This is a great deal!!! Get in on the ground floor and adopt now so that the family can bond and have fun for the summer! APPLICATION or INQUIRY...Please email or text me for the e-mail version of our application/inquiry. Currently our application is not working... Terry 210-394-6060..or petcentralsatx@gmail.com. Include dog's name in the inquiry. Jack is a male Shepherd mix, about 5 yrs old. He weighs 45#. He is a good dog... no aggression but also no training. He has been getting some leash training of which he's doing very well. This guy needs to have a companion to take him everywhere, go on hikes, and maybe even swimming. He loves people and is great with other dogs. He does need daily exercise but I’m sure he will calm down after he knows he’s in a forever home and gets his love and exercise every day. He deserves a second chance…he needs someone who believes in him! Check our You Tube Video: https://youtu.be/zawD9-77Oxs This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Story
Some dogs just want a home. Max wants his person. The kind of person he can nap beside after a long day of playing outside. The kind that laughs at his goofy big-baby personality, gives him a sunny spot to lay in, and keeps a few treats nearby because food is absolutely the way to his heart. And those big brown eyes? They look at you with so much love and hope it’s impossible not to feel something. The kind of eyes that make you wonder how he’s still waiting for someone to choose him. He’s learning beautifully, loving deeply, and trying so hard to be someone’s perfect dog. All he’s missing now is his forever home.

When your application is approved, we put you in touch with the foster for FaceTime so you can see your puppy in real time and ask questions. It's a process that's worked for hundreds of dogs over the past fifteen years.

Max is neutered, rabies, puppy vaccines and boosters, microchip, dewormed, parasite prevention. He comes with medical records.

Max is approximately 5 months old and weighs about 30 pounds. He has big bones and will likely grow over 60 pounds.

Max lives In a Foster Home with a working couple, adult dogs, 3 puppies, and cats. His fosters think a lot of him and are anxious to speak with you and tell you how smart this beautiful dog is!

There is lots of room to write on the application. Please tell us about yourself, and your pets, current or previous.

Transport arrives 6/5 with our adopted dogs. $585 total adoption fee includes transportation and a health certificate from a licensed vet. Serious adopters should fill out the application online and we'll be in touch in a day or two.

Story
If you are looking for a sweet and oh so lovable boy, take a moment out of your day to learn about Ace. He is a 3.5-year-old border collie mix weighing around 39 pounds. Ace is looking forward to having a wonderful and loving family to call his own. Whether outdoors or indoors, Ace is ready to be with his family every step of the way. He is a quiet and shy pup when meeting new people, but he warms up to kindness and tender loving care. He loves to run and play every chance he gets. A joyful time is in store for all of his friends when playtime is happening. He befriends other dogs, children of all ages and adults. He has not had the opportunity to meet cats since coming into rescue. It is unknown at this time if Ace will befriend a cat. If you like a canine companion to go on rides to the store, running errands or to an outing, Ace is your boy. He does very well riding in the car. He is putting his best paw forward with learning his leash training and is doing a really good job. Ace is committed to make his skill set a success. Ace has worked hard and has achieved success in his house and crate training. Although he is housetrained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. Looking for a pal that will be by your side and has pep in his step? Ace is the sweet and endearing companion who is waiting on you to meet him.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Ace is $500. Story
Meet Thea, a bright and social Border Collie mix who loves making new friends wherever she goes. With her friendly nature and active mind, she is happiest when she has people, playtime, and a little adventure in her day. Thea has a distinctive black and white coat and sparkling brown eyes that perfectly match her personality. At 9 months old and 40 pounds, we can only estimate her adult size. However, we believe she will likely be on the larger side of medium dog size, between 45 and 55 pounds when fully grown.Thea enjoys playing with other dogs and does well with kids. She thrives on activity and attention and would love a home where she can join in on walks, hikes, playtime in the yard, and other family adventures. If left to her own resources, Thea will climb a fence and also chase poultry or livestock which are attributes true to her breed. Because she is a smart and curious young dog, Thea will do best in a home that can keep her engaged and provide safe space to run and explore under supervision. She has not yet had the opportunity to meet cats since coming into rescue, so her compatibility with them is currently unknown. She is working on her young dog basics with learning to walk nicely on a leash. Thea is eager to keep learning and growing alongside her forever family. Thea has stepped up to the plate and hit a homerun with her house and crate training. She is a master at both and looking forward to show off her skills to her family. Although she is housetrained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. All she needs now is an active and adventurous family ready to welcome her home. If you have been looking for the adventure of a lifetime with a warm and happy companion, apply for Thea now.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine.
